Upon arrival at either the Narita or Haneda International Airports in Tokyo, you will be met at the exit of the Custom’s area. Transfer to your hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure. お食事はお客様各自のご負担となります。

2日目
After checking out of the hotel, you will enjoy a half-day tour of Tokyo starting with a visit to the Meiji Jingu Shinto Shrine. Built to venerate Emperor Meiji, who reigned from 1852-1912, it is the largest and most visited shrine in Japan, in part because of its beautiful park-like setting and the fact that Meiji is revered as Japan’s first modern emperor.
Then it’s on to Tokyo Tower, Japan’s second highest structure, which was built in 1958 as a symbol of Japan’s rebirth. エレベーターで150mのメイン展望デッキに上がると、感動的な景色が目の前に広がります。天気が良ければ富士山も見ることができます。

この日は富士箱根伊豆国立公園の一部である箱根を散策します。Upon arriving at Sounzan, you will board the Ropeway, an aerial tram that affords you wonderful views of the Owakudani Valley. その後、風光明媚な芦ノ湖でクルーズを楽しみます。透明度の高いこの湖は、箱根山の噴火によって約3,000年前にできたカルデラ湖です。条件が良ければ、富士山と湖面に映る逆さ富士を見ることができます。
昼食は現地レストランにてお楽しみいただきます。ホテルへの道中、小田原城に立ち寄ります。この城は15世紀の中頃に建てられましたが、江戸幕府が終わり新政府として明治政府が誕生した際に、武士の象徴であった多くの城は廃城となり、小田原城も19世紀後半に多くの建物が解体されました。
現存する小田原城は1960年に復興されたものですが、However, the moat and stone walls are original. 小田原城には3重5階の天守があり、最上階は展望デッキになっています。

Following breakfast at the hotel, depart on a half-day tour of the city.
Visit the Tokyo National Museum established 1872, it is one of the oldest museums in Japan. The Museum Collection comprises art and archaeological objects of Asia, focusing on Japan. There are a total of approximately 120,000 objects of which 89 are National Treasures and 649 Important Cultural Properties.
Continue to the Ginza area, one of the most luxurious shopping districts in the world. The streets in Ginza are lined with numerous departments stores, boutiques, restaurants, and bars. 銀座では自由行動となりますので、散策やお買い物をご満喫ください。無料のギャラリーを訪れるのも良いでしょう。
You can choose to either remain in Ginza and make your own way back to the hotel or return with the group.
The remainder of the day is at your leisure with lunch and dinner on your own.
3日目
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will begin yet another half-day tour of Tokyo, allowing you to see the city from a different perspective.
You will first journey to the Asakusa area – part of Tokyo’s Old Town. 7世紀の初めに創建された浅草寺を訪れます。天候が良ければ、大きな赤い提灯が吊るされた門をくぐって、神社を見学しに行きます。建築物としても大変立派な浅草寺は日本有数の古刹で、大勢の参拝者が訪れます。One of the highlights is a walk down Nakamise-dori, known as the “Street of Inside Shops,” an alley lined with vendors selling traditional food, souvenirs, and handmade crafts.
You will have a photo stop at the Imperial Palace Plaza (no interior visit), where Japan’s Emperor and Empress reside. 濠に囲まれたこの場所はかつての江戸城であり、17世紀から19世紀にかけて武士が暮らしていました。皇居前広場から宮殿へ至る濠に2つの橋がかかっていますが、これが有名な二重橋です。手前にある石造りの橋はその見た目から眼鏡橋とも呼ばれています。

After breakfast and check-out, you will visit Meiji Shrine. 東京の中心にあり、近代日本の父とも言うべき明治天皇を祀ったこの美しい神社は、365種120,000本の木々が生い茂る深い森の中に建っています。The setting symbolizes the separation of the spiritual from the world. この日本最大規模の神社へは、高さ12mの鳥居をくぐって入ります。This shrine is a popular place for traditional Japanese weddings, if you are lucky, you might get to see one.
From the peaceful green oasis surrounding Meiji Shrine you will continue to the beautiful Hamarikyu Garden, an Edo Period Japanese garden surrounded by the Shiodome district’s futuristic skyscrapers. これは日本が対照的なものが同時に存在する場所だということを示すいい例だと言えるでしょう。The garden was originally built as a feudal lord's Tokyo residence and duck hunting grounds during the Edo Period but later served as a strolling garden and as an Imperial detached palace before eventually being opened to the public in its current form.
Continue to the modern Odaiba area. 今日の東京のように大都市がどんどん広がってスペースがなくなってくると、その広がりは必然的に海へ向かいます。Odaiba is a man-made island created by massive landfills, featuring many hypermodern and strange buildings memorably described as the result of a Pre-schooler’s architecture class. You will have the chance to enjoy it from above, during a visit to an observation deck, located in one of Odaiba’s most iconic buildings: フジテレビ本社にある展望室に上れば、その風景を眼下に見渡すことができます。
It is then on to the cruise ship terminal for embarkation.

Fly to Xi’an, the energetic capital of the Shaanxi Province, and tour its most spectacular attractions, including the Terracotta Warriors Museum, Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim Quarter, Grand Mosque and Tang Dynasty Theatre.

1日目
Disembark the ship and transfer to the airport for your flight to Xi’an. Upon arriving in Xi’an and passing through immigration, customs and baggage claim, you will start your tour with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. One of China’s most revered pagodas, it was built in 652 A.D. to house the sutras and figurines of Buddha that a Chinese monk brought to Xi’an. The building was eventually expanded to ten stories, although only seven stories remain, as the others were damaged in various wars. Nevertheless, the pagoda is recognized as a symbol of Xi’an.
Next you will travel to the nearby Defachang Restaurant, popularly known for its dumplings. Carefully hand-prepared, the dumplings are available in dozens of different shapes and colors and filled with a variety of local ingredients. You can expect the meal to be wonderfully traditional. After dinner, you will drive back to the hotel to spend the evening.
Following dinner, proceed to the Shangri La Xi’an (or similar hotel) for check in.

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, a repository for thousands of clay soldiers that were buried with China’s first emperor to accompany him in his eternal rest. Considered one of the world’s greatest archaeological treasures, the 7,000 life-size terracotta warriors and horses were buried for centuries until excavated in 1974.
The warriors are grouped in battle order, rank by rank, some mounted on horse-drawn chariots and others in infantry groups armed with spears, swords and crossbows. Each figure was individually created with unique characteristics.
Following the tour and a traditional Chinese lunch at a nearby restaurant, you will explore the Muslim Quarter and its Grand Mosque. Muslims have lived in the quarter for more than 1,000 years ago, beginning with the merchants from Arabic countries that settled at this terminus of the Silk Road. The Grand Mosque is particularly fascinating, as it reflects traditional Chinese and Muslim styles.
After visiting the mosque, you will return to the hotel to freshen up before driving to the Tang Dynasty Theatre for dinner and a cultural performance. The costumed show features ancient music, poetry, singing and dance, some of which were developed as parts of ritual prayers for a good harvest. Following the lively performance, you will return to the hotel to spend the evening.

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will visit the Shaanxi History Museum. Inside, seemingly countless exhibits depict the history of China from prehistoric times to the mid-19th Century. It offers an enlightening overview of the country, with a particular emphasis on the Shaanxi Province.
Then, it’s on to a traditional hot pot restaurant for lunch, before driving to the airport for the flight back to Hong Kong. Upon arriving in Hong Kong, you will be transferred to your hotel for the evening. 夕食はお客様各自のご負担となります。

It is essential that your China visa is obtained prior to travel.

The standard electrical voltage in Hong Kong is 220 volts AC, 50Hz. Most hotel bathrooms also have outlets for 100 volts, but if not, you will need a transformer for any appliance or electrical equipment. The majority of electrical outlets in Hong Kong take a three-pronged UK-style plug. We recommend travelling with your own adaptors in case your hotel cannot supply one.

On the flight from Hong Kong to Xi’an, guests are permitted to check in one piece of luggage not exceeding 20 KG (44 lbs). Carry-on luggage must not be large than 22x14x9 inches / one piece per person.
Excess luggage that you do not wish to take on the flight will be stored at the hotel in Hong Kong and you will be re-united with it on Day 3. Please pack accordingly before disembarkation. Any pieces of luggage not going with you will be taken as soon as you disembark.

Century-old temples and gardens share the same streets with multi-storied offices, skyscrapers and residential housing. Enjoy a ride on the Peak Tram to the soaring heights of Victoria Peak, experience the Star Ferry on a ride across Victoria Harbour viewing the famous Hong Kong skyline along the way, stroll through the Tang Dynasty Nunnery and Garden and check out over 900 priceless national treasures displayed at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.

Disembark the ship and proceed to Hong Kong Island. For the ultimate view of the surroundings, you will ride the re-vitalized tram up to Victoria Peak. The world’s steepest funicular railway, the Peak Tram opened in 1888 and has been providing spectacular panoramas ever since. As you ascend, you may notice that the steep slope causes an optical illusion in which the skyscrapers seem to be standing at impossible angles.
Hong Kong has spent $799 million HKG to make the Peak Tram a more efficient and comfortable experience. There are new larger capacity tramcars, ropes and track rails, updated control and signaling systems, a brand new terminal, covered and temperature controlled waiting area and platforms and tramcar floors have been aligned to provide step-free access for people with disabilities. There are also five new engaging zones that include “Eye of Infinity,” “The Beating Heart,” “An Icon is Born,” “Once Upon a Tram” and “Go Wild at the Peak” – all located at the Central Terminus.
After pausing for photos at the peak, you will drive on to Aberdeen fishing village and board a sampan boat. While on the water, you can expect to see fishing boats, Chinese junks and villagers doing chores. The experience offers a candid look into daily life, as does your next stop—the last remaining jewelry outlet featuring hand-made unique designs combining East and West influences.
Following lunch, it’s on to vibrant Stanley Market, a highly popular shopping destination for merchandise such as silk garments, Chinese costume jewelry and art. As an alternative in Stanley, you might explore Tin Hau Temple, which once stood at the edge of the sea, and the Murray House, an early 19th-Century building that was moved from its original site to the seaside.
Your next destination is the Star Ferry pier where you will board a ferry for a ride across Victoria Harbour. Take in the spectacular views of the skyline from this vantage point on the water.
Following your ride on the ferry, return to your hotel for an evening at leisure and dinner on your own.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart to visit the hidden gems in the City – the sacred Chi Lin Nunnery, a Buddhist temple complex, and the charming Nan Lian Garden of the Tang Dynasty where each stone, tree, rock or water element is landscaped after specific rules and regulations. With the backdrop of Chi Lin Nunnery, you will find the typical Hong Kong high-rise buildings making for an interesting clash of old, new, calm and hustle.
Next, drive to Tai Po and enjoy a panoramic view of the waterfront and Tolo Harbor at the Spiral Lookout Tower - a large-scale landmark established to mark the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong to China in 1997.
Visit a bustling food market that sells all kinds of fresh products, dried herbs and seafood. Next door is the century old Man Mo Temple dedicated to the gods Man (Literature) and Mo (Martial Arts). It serves as a center of worship for the community.
After sampling a Chinese dim sum lunch at a local restaurant, you will be transferred back to Kowloon with a stop the West Kowloon Cultural District. Visit the Hong Kong Palace Museum which presents over 900 priceless treasures from the Beijing Palace Museum. Many are on display for the first time in Hong Kong, while others have never been shown to the public before. The Museum also regularly presents special exhibitions featuring Chinese art and culture, as well as art and treasures from other parts of the world.
