Arrive at the Sydney International Airport where you are met by a driver for a private transfer to your Sydney hotel.
You will be met outside the gate area after you collect your luggage and pass through customs. Your driver will be holding a sign with your name on it as well as the Regent logo.

Our local ground operator in Australia will provide each guest with soft sided bag to use on this journey and to keep as a memento of this amazing experience. Excess luggage will be stored in Sydney where guests will be reunited with it on Day 4. Please ensure to label your stored luggage and remember to bring documents, medications and valuables with you. Soft sides bags are required for the flight from Cairns to Lizard Island.

Following breakfast, meet your transfer (time and location will be provided in your Welcome Letter) and drive to the Sydney domestic airport where you will check in for a flight to Cairns.
Upon arrival, meet a local representative who will be accompany you on a short transfer to a separate terminal which is used for you next flight - a scenic 1-hour jaunt to Lizard Island.
Lizard Island is truly one of a kind and nestled within a National Park that is enriched with beautiful and diverse Australian wildlife and bounded by stunning private beaches. And the best part, the Great Barrier Reef is right at your doorstep.
Since your room may not be ready upon arrival (check in time is at 3:00pm) you can enjoy lunch in the Salt Water Restaurant. Luggage can be stored and you can then start exploring the beautiful island and the gorgeous resort.
All meals are included during your stay along with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer, spirits, picnic hampers and an in-room mini bar that is re-stocked daily. There are also a number of dining options you can discuss with the reception team on arrival.
Your Oceanview Villa is located along a ridge which overlooks the Coral Sea. You will have access to the renowned private beaches of the island via natural, meandering pathways. Each villa features a private deck with outdoor furniture and inside a king-size bed. There is a maximum of 2 guests per room. During your stay you will have access to your own private motorized dinghy, unlimited use of stand-up paddle boards and clear view sea kayaks, guided tours and walks and snorkel gear for the duration of your stay.
Optional activities for a fee may include research station tours, diving and snorkeling trips to local, inner or outer reefs, dive courses (limited), full or half day private diving, snorkeling, or game fishing on the MV Duyfken (Black Marlin season is from September to December), turtle or coral-viewing tours, sunset wine and cheese cruise. A complete list will be available at the hotel and reservations can be made directly with the activities staff at the hotel.

After a delicious tropical breakfast, depart on a snorkel tour from the beach to what are arguably the very best sites on the Great Barrier Reef. All equipment is included or bring your own.
Upon your return enjoy lunch and then the afternoon at leisure to do as you please. Dinner is also at your very own convenience.

After breakfast, once again depart on a guided tour – this time with a local expert who will teach you about majestic Green Sea Turtles. Travel to a beach (either by small dinghy or by motor vehicle depending on the location of the turtles that day) where you will have the option to snorkel with the turtles.
Upon your return, the afternoon is yours at leisure to enjoy this paradise. Lunch and dinner are also at your convenience.

Following breakfast, it will be time to depart for the flight back to Cairns and then onwards to Sydney.
Arriving in Sydney, you will be met and will return to the Capella Hotel where the evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own. You will also be reunited with any stored luggage.

Flight details between Cairns and Lizard Island (subject to change):
East Air operates the connecting flight between Cairns and Lizard Island twice daily. The scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef takes around 60 minutes.
Luggage information
Guests are restricted to one soft sided duffel type suitcase and one small carry-on item each. Soft suitcases are required due to the light aircraft flight between Cairns and Lizard Island. The weight limit is 25kg/ 55 lbs between both pieces IE - 21kg check-in luggage and 4kg carry-on applies (this is subject to loading restrictions).
Our local ground operator in Australia will provide each guest with soft sided bag to use on this journey and to keep as a memento of this amazing experience. Excess luggage will be stored in Sydney where guests will be reunited with it on Day 4. Please ensure to label your stored luggage and remember to bring documents, medications and valuables with you.
Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)
1. Guests must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights.
2. The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type)
3. These documents need to be sent to the Land Program Team via Reservations at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).
4. Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which the cruise line nor our local ground operator be responsible for.
5. Guests should bring with them on the flight any paperwork from their doctor and /or specific details that explain the type of device they are bringing on board. Each brand should have a website with paperwork that can be printed for flight.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on an exhilarating journey to explore the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef! Meet your tour leader in the lobby (don’t forget a towel and biodegradable sunscreen) and board your coach for a short transfer to the pier for an unforgettable reef cruise.
Begin your adventure with a morning tea served once you board, setting the perfect tone for what lies ahead. The first stop is the breathtaking Michaelmas Cay, where you will have the opportunity to explore the vibrant underwater world with a guided snorkel tour. Immerse yourself in the beauty of this natural wonderland before indulging in a hot and cold buffet lunch. While at Michaelmas Cay, don't forget to keep an eye out for the elusive batfish, gracefully gliding among the coral formations. You can also join a Glass Bottom Boat tour with commentary, learning about the reef.
Next, venture to Hastings Reef, another spectacular location teeming with marine life. Here, you can continue your snorkelling adventure or simply relax and take in the stunning surroundings. Be sure to keep an eye out for colourful fish, graceful rays, and perhaps even a curious turtle.
Throughout the day, the knowledgeable crew will provide insightful reef interpretation talks, enhancing your understanding of this remarkable ecosystem. As the day winds down, depart from the Reef enriched by unforgettable experiences. Arrive back in Cairns and transfer back to the hotel, where you will have some time to freshen up and relax before the evening plans.
Meet your tour leader in the lobby and walk to Dundees at the Waterfront for dinner. Indulge in a delicious three-course meal, all while enjoying the picturesque views of the waterfront.

Gather in the lobby, check out, and board your coach for a transfer to the Cairns Airport, for a flight to Ayers Rock. Upon arrival, retrieve your luggage and transfer to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Here you will have the chance to explore both the Cultural Centre and the Walkatjara Art Gallery at your leisure.
Afterwards, rejoin the coach for a scenic drive to Mangata Bistro and Bar, where a delightful lunch will be served. After lunch, take some time to relax, check in, and enjoy the various free activities offered at Sails in the Desert this afternoon. Activities may include cultural experiences, camel farm and guided garden tours and didgeridoo and painting workshops to name a few. The resort will provide a list of the available activities upon arrival.
Tonight, prepare for a memorable experience as you will partake in the Wintjiri Wiru Sunset Dinner. Wintjiri Wiru, which translates to 'beautiful view out to the horizon' in the Pitjantjatjara language, offers a mesmerizing cultural narrative. This immersive experience vividly portrays a chapter of the ancestral Mala story using choreographed drones, lasers, and projections that dance across the night sky, showcasing the spiritual significance of the land. Luggage information:
Guests are normally permitted to bring a maximum of 1 checked suitcase free of charge for domestic flights. Maximum weight is 20kg (50bs.) One small carry-on per person that can fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you is also permitted.
However for this program, one additional checked bag (20 kg/ 50 lbs) is included. Guests having excess or overweight luggage in addition to the above allowance, will be responsible for any airline fees upon check in at the airports.
Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)
1.Guests must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights.
2.The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type)
3.These documents need to be sent to the Land Program Team via Reservations at RSSC at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).
4.Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which Regent Seven Seas Cruises nor our local ground operator are responsible for.

A valid passport is also required, and your number must be added to your cruise booking at least 120 days before the cruise starts so that the domestic flight tickets can be issued.

1日目
Upon arrival at the Sydney International Airport, you will pass through customs, collect your luggage and meet your private driver outside the gates shortly afterwards. You will then transfer to the Wildlife Retreat, your eco-friendly accommodations located inside the Taronga Zoo.

Once checked in, guests will be free to explore Taronga Zoo when it is open, from the day you arrive through the day you depart. The zoo closes at 4:30pm in the winter and 5:00pm in the summer. You can enter the zoo directly from the Wildlife Retreat. No extra tickets or passes are needed. Your room key will provide entry into the zoo and back into the retreat throughout your stay.
Your Bushland room has views overlooking a variety native trees and flora. Keep an eye out for the wild birds amongst the bush.
In the evening, dinner is included at the Me-Gal restaurant onsite and can be enjoyed at your leisure. Guests just need to drop by or call the reception desk to confirm a preferred dining time.
注意:A guide will not be staying with the group at the hotel. However, during your stay, you will be assigned a Regent representative and provided with contact details should you require anything that the hotel staff cannot assist with. Following breakfast in the Me-Gal restaurant, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby and transfer to the ferry terminal, where you will take a boat shuttle across Sydney Harbor and into the downtown.
Start with a walk to the Sydney Botanical Gardens, where you will have the opportunity to learn about vast species of Australian plant life that are located in the middle of the city.
Next, visit the Art Gallery of New South Wales for a guided tour of the newest Sydney Modern Project, which showcases both modern art and remarkable works by Aboriginal artists.
For an insight into the history of Sydney and the arrival of the first settlers in 1788, you will walk through the historical and cultural area known as The Rocks. There in a pub, you will enjoy an Australian pizza for lunch with a glass of beer or wine.
In the afternoon, you will return to The Wilderness Retreat and tour The Sanctuary with a park ranger. You can expect an up-close and personal experience with indigenous animals such as koalas, wallabies and echidnas. The ranger will provide you with exclusive access to areas of the park not accessible to the general public, allowing you to meet these remarkable animals and have a real conversation with the experts on the conservation and protection of these unique species.
The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Dinner is included at the Me-Gal restaurant.

Following breakfast in the Me-Gal restaurant, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby and set out for a tour of the Ku Ring Gai National Park.
Here you will find a multitude of gum trees, also known as eucalyptus. Your guide will share stories and showcase how life was for the original inhabitants prior to colonization of the country. Be sure to look for various rock-art sites while you drive through the park.
Continuing on, arrive to Broken Bay Pearl Farm, where you will meet a group of passionate oyster and pearl cultivators. The visit will provide you with an insight into the area’s natural beauty on land and during a cruise on the Hawkesbury River, where you will see the saltwater paddocks. Learn why the environment there is ideal for growing oysters of all varieties and in turn how oysters give back to people and place.
Following your visit, return to The Wildlife Retreat for an afternoon at leisure. This is the perfect time to visit the zoo or perhaps head back to the city center to explore on your own.
The evening is also at your leisure with dinner included at the Me-Gal restaurant.

Following breakfast in the Me-Gal restaurant, you will check out and meet your guide in the hotel lobby.
Driving north, you will explore the more uncrowded beaches of Sydney. Your destination is Palm Beach, a quintessential beach town where the Australian show “Home and Away” was filmed. Affectionately known as “Palmy” by locals, Palm Beach is located at the end of a long peninsula and boasts beautiful golden sand and clear water, which has inspired the wealthy to build their holiday homes there.
You will have time to enjoy the vistas before sitting down to lunch in a beach-style restaurant, allowing you to take in the vibe and culture of this beach community.
Afterwards, you will return to the cruise terminal in Sydney and embark the ship.

Following breakfast at your hotel, board a luxury coach and take the drive out to the Blue Mountains. Your guide will give you an introduction to the best of what the Blue Mountains has to offer.
Upon arrival at the Blue Mountains National Park, you will be joined by a local Ranger who will share stories and explain the ancient traditions of one of the world’s oldest living cultures. For those that want to stretch their legs, you can join the ranger for a bush walk. Take in the sights and smells of the Australian bush and learn about bush foods and medicines used as sustenance by the Indigenous and Aboriginal Australians.
Following a catered picnic lunch, return to your hotel via the picturesque town of Leura where you will have some time to explore the village at leisure before arriving back at the hotel in the late afternoon. The evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

Following breakfast at your hotel, board a luxury coach for a tour to the world-famous Bondi Beach. Dip your toes in the water, walk the promenade and window shop or sit on the beach watching the surfers and beach goers. The choice is yours during your free time.
Return to the city center for a guided interior visit of the iconic and spectacular Sydney Opera House.

Disembark the ship in Auckland and meet your guide. See important luggage note below. Begin your tour with a drive along the northern motorway across the harbour bridge to the North Shore airfield for an Auckland city scenic flight.
A region as vast and majestic as Auckland can only truly be appreciated from the air and the flight path you will take allows you to see some of the most popular locations of Auckland from a bird’s eye view. As we fly low, you’ll be able to see into the crater of Rangitoto and learn about the history of the Auckland region while soaking in the views of Motutapu Island and Aucklands Skyline, colossal Sky Tower and view of the Harbour Bridge.
After your flight continue north to the Puhoi Honey centre, started in 1992 by a local beekeeper, the centre isn’t just about buying honey, it’s an experience, it houses the largest display of live bees and a great range of honeys for tasting including the famous New Zealand Manuka honey. Enjoy lunch at the Bridgehouse Restaurant - a cozy, historic setting with a menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, fresh seafood, and classic New Zealand dishes, all overlooking the Mahurangi River.
After lunch, continue to your luxury accommodation for the next two nights at Te Arai Links, a stunning resort nestled alongside a pristine New Zealand coastline. In the evening, you will visit Matakana Kitchen for an early dinner, before embarking on an evening adventure in Tawharanui Open Sanctuary. With your local guide, explore lush forests and coastal landscapes as you search for New Zealand's iconic Kiwi bird by red torchlight, learning to identify their distinctive calls and fascinating behaviors. With well-maintained trails, this special experience offers a high chance to spot Kiwis in their natural habitat, though sightings are not guaranteed. To top off this special experience, enjoy a hot chocolate and cookies while sitting under the stars. Each participant gets their own red lensed torch.

Enjoy breakfast at the resort at Ric’s Restaurant before making your way to the Te Hana Cultural Centre for an authentic and enriching journey into Maori culture and history. You'll experience a traditional powhiri (welcoming) into the 17th-century model village Pa site (Maori fortified village). This will be followed by a captivating Maori Cultural Kapa Haka concert and a guided village tour. To complete your experience, enjoy a delicious traditional Maori lunch – Hangi.
After lunch, step into the shoes of a winemaker and create your own wine blend. Blending is at the heart of many great wines, the timing and trails for blending can vary and can be used for a multitude of purposes to complete a wine. You’ll firstly learn how to taste wine (look, swirl and sniff, taste), then you have the opportunity to create your own blend, envision what wine you would like to make, give your wine a name as you’ll cork your own 375ml bottle to take home or drink tonight while relaxing back at your accommodation.
Return to Te Arai Links and enjoy your afternoon at leisure. Again, if you choose to partake in the retreats activities, please see the resort’s concierge for bookings.
In the evening, join fellow guests for dinner at the on-site Ocean Restaurant, which boasts stunning views of the 18th fairway, the Pacific Ocean, and beyond. Enjoy breakfast at the resort’s Ric’s Restaurant before settling any incidentals and checking out.
Head to Scott’s Landing, nestled in the Mahurangi Harbour, for an Oyster Shucking experience. Board the Shuckleferry to immerse yourself in the life of an oyster farmer, where you’ll visit the heart of the oyster farm, learn how oysters are caught, grown, and harvested, and collect fresh oysters straight from the water. The skipper will guide you in shucking your oysters, and we’ll even cook some on the BBQ before heading back to Scott’s Landing. If oysters aren’t your thing, you can still enjoy a morning on the water with wine and nibbles instead.
Before heading to Auckland City, enjoy lunch at Brick Bay, a picturesque restaurant set amid native bush. This unique venue combines art, nature, and wine, with dining in a stunning lakeside Glasshouse. After lunch, relax as you take a tour of Auckland City, before arriving your Auckland hotel to check in. Your luggage, sent from the pier on Day 1 will be waiting for you on at the hotel. This evening, dinner is on your own.

A private transfer will be arranged to take you from the hotel to the airport as per the flight details provided. Please confirm you transfers and departure flight details on the Welcome Letter you will receive and advise ground staff if these are incorrect.
If you are checking out late, your luggage can be stored at reception until your transfer time.
Private van transfers will be used for 2 or more guests travelling together on the same booking. Private sedans will be used for solo travelers.
