Ko Samui’s most important is Wat Phra Yai with its 11m-tall golden Buddha statue perched atop a wide staircase decorated with dragons. For a more serene spiritual experience, join locals at the Plai Laem temple, with its towering white statue of Guanyin, a goddess who is believed to be the protector of all beings and a source of unconditional love. On either side of the Guanyin statue, you will find two halls that are adorned with murals and frescoes that depict Buddhist mythology. View FREE Unlimited Shore Excursions at RSSC.com
