Land Programs & Hotels

  • Experience the very best of Sydney and beyond. Enjoy a dinner cruise in the iconic harbor, visit the magnificent opera house, relax on Bondi Beach and explore the Aboriginal culture in the nearby scenic Blue Mountains.

    DAY 1

Disembark the ship in Sydney, meet your guide and board a luxury coach for a tour to the world-famous Bondi Beach. Dip your toes in the water, walk the promenade and window shop or sit on the beach watching the surfers and beach goers. The choice is yours during your free time.

Return to the city center for a guided interior visit of the iconic and spectacular Sydney Opera House.

Officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on October 20, 1973, this site is still today one of Sydney's most famous landmarks.

Following your tour, drive to your hotel for check-in.

The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Lunch and dinner are on your own.

    DAY 2

Following breakfast at your hotel, board a luxury coach and take the drive out to the Blue Mountains. Your guide will give you an introduction to the best of what the Blue Mountains has to offer.

Upon arrival at the Blue Mountains National Park, you will be joined by a local Ranger who will share stories and explain the ancient traditions of one of the world’s oldest living cultures. For those that want to stretch their legs, you can join the ranger for a bush walk. Take in the sights and smells of the Australian bush and learn about bush foods and medicines used as sustenance by the Indigenous and Aboriginal Australians.

Following a catered picnic lunch, return to your hotel via the picturesque town of Leura where you will have some time to explore the village at leisure before arriving back at the hotel in the late afternoon. The evening is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

    DAY 3

After breakfast the day is at your leisure to explore the city sites or perhaps catch up on some world class shopping opportunities in the central business district.

The hotel Concierge will be happy to assist with any local sightseeing and shopping suggestions. The botanical Gardens and the Rocks are an easy walk away and offer beautiful views of the Sydney Harbor. For the adventurous, perhaps book a time slot and climb the Sydney Bridge!

Lunch is on your own but later this evening, rejoin your group leader in the lobby for a short walk to the pier where you will board a dinner cruise around the Sydney Harbour. Indulge in a wonderful dinner paired with Penfolds wine and spectacular views of Sydney’s iconic landmarks. Watch the city come to life as the evening lights glisten across the water.

Upon your return to Circular Quay, it’s a short walk back to your hotel or perhaps take this opportunity to remain in the city to enjoy Sydney’s nightlife.

Note: The dinner cruise will not be exclusive to RSSC

    DAY 4

Following breakfast and check out, meet your driver for a transfer to the Sydney International Airport. Transfers will be arranged based on the flight time provided within 14 days of sailing. Check out is at 12:00pm. Should you have a late flight, luggage storage will be available at the hotel until your transfer time.

    DAY 1

Disembark the ship in Sydney, meet your guide and begin the drive north where you will explore the more uncrowded beaches of Sydney. Your destination is Palm Beach, a quintessential beach town where the Australian show “Home and Away” was filmed. Affectionately known as “Palmy” by locals, Palm Beach is located at the end of a long peninsula and boasts beautiful golden sand and clear water, which has inspired the wealthy to build their holiday homes there.

You will have time to enjoy the vistas before sitting down to lunch in a beach-style restaurant, allowing you to take in the vibe and culture of this beach community.

Afterwards, you will proceed to your hotel for the next three nights – The Wildlife Retreat, which is located within Australia’s famous Taronga Zoo.

Once checked in, guests will be free to explore Taronga Zoo when it is open, from the day you arrive through the day you depart. The zoo closes at 4:30pm in the winter and 5:00pm in the summer. You can enter the zoo directly from the Wildlife Retreat. No extra tickets or passes are needed. Your room key will provide entry into the zoo and back into the retreat throughout your stay.

Your Bushland room has views overlooking a variety native trees and flora. Keep an eye out for the wild birds amongst the bush.

In the evening, dinner is included at the Me-Gal restaurant onsite and can be enjoyed at your leisure. Guests just need to drop by or call the reception desk to confirm a preferred dining time.

Note: A guide will not be staying with the group at the hotel. However, during your stay, you will be assigned a Regent representative and provided with contact details should you require anything that the hotel staff cannot assist with. Next, visit the Art Gallery of New South Wales for a guided tour of the newest Sydney Modern Project, which showcases both modern art and remarkable works by Aboriginal artists.

For an insight into the history of Sydney and the arrival of the first settlers in 1788, you will walk through the historical and cultural area known as The Rocks. There in a pub, you will enjoy an Australian pizza for lunch with a glass of beer or wine.

In the afternoon, you will return to The Wilderness Retreat and tour The Sanctuary with a park ranger. You can expect an up-close and personal experience with indigenous animals such as koalas, wallabies and echidnas. The ranger will provide you with exclusive access to areas of the park not accessible to the general public, allowing you to meet these remarkable animals and have a real conversation with the experts on the conservation and protection of these unique species.

The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Dinner is included at the Me-Gal restaurant.

Note: Today will include a fair amount of walking, therefore we recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes and light, loose clothing along with lots of sun protection. Also note, animals may not be held in the state of New South Wales.

Continuing on, arrive to Broken Bay Pearl Farm, where you will meet a group of passionate oyster and pearl cultivators. The visit will provide you with an insight into the area’s natural beauty on land and during a cruise on the Hawkesbury River, where you will see the saltwater paddocks. Learn why the environment there is ideal for growing oysters of all varieties and in turn how oysters give back to people and place.

Following your visit, return to The Wildlife Retreat for an afternoon at leisure. This is the perfect time to visit the zoo or perhaps head back to the city center to explore on your own. Ferries depart between the zoo and Circular Quay (downtown Sydney) approximately every 30 minutes.

    DAY 1 - November 19, 2026

Disembark the ship in Singapore and meet your guide before departing on a brief sightseeing tour of the city en route to the airport.

Stop to view Merlion Park, a prominent symbol of Singapore representing the city’s origins as a fishing village and its transformation into a modern metropolis. This mythical creature has the head of a lion and the body of a fish. The lion head symbolizes Singapore's original name, Singapura, which means "Lion City" in Malay, while the fish body represents its humble beginnings as a fishing village.

Then, transfer to Singapore’s Changi Airport for a flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival a local guide will be waiting in the arrivals to meet you for your transfer to your city-based hotel.

After check-in, the remainder of the day is at your leisure with meals on your own.

You’ll find that the Shangri-La Bangkok is an enchanting riverside retreat located right in the heart of the vibrant city of Bangkok. The hotel has eight restaurants and lounges for you to choose from or you may wish to consult with the hotel Concierge for dinner suggestions within the city.

    Day 2 – November 20, 2026

Strategically positioned on an island between three rivers, the city of Ayutthaya rose to prosperity during the 14th to 18th centuries when the Siamese kingdom flourished through trade between the East and West. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, the former capital city contains several significant archaeological treasures, including the remains of Buddhist monasteries, temples and palaces.

This morning you will visit the landscaped gardens and the iconic floating pavilion of Bang Pa-In, the Summer Palace and former retreat for Thai kings. Also explore the remains of red brick temples in the old town as well as a Buddha head wrapped inside the roots of a tree at Wat Mahathat.

Enjoy a visit to a local café where you can try a local pancake-like treat made by local vendors and then discover the former Grand Palace.

Sit down for a leisurely lunch with views of nearby temples and river life before continuing to another towering old chedi (bell shaped stupa) that inspired the design of many temples in Bangkok.

Later in the day, transfer to your overnight hotel. The iuDia Hotel is considered a boutique property offering a unique experience with views of the ancient ruins of the Ayutthaya Historical Park. The hotel blends traditional Thai architecture with modern comforts, giving it a distinct charm and sense of place.

Following dinner at the hotel, the evening is at your leisure.

    Day 3 – November 20, 2026

After breakfast, you will visit Wat Phanan Cheoeng, one of the city’s oldest temples, which features a large Buddha statue. Behind the temple is a small 18th-century shrine built to honor a Chinese princess with a tragic story.

Then visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram: A magnificent Buddhist temple in Ayutthaya situated on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. A number of temples throughout Thailand take their design from this building, an eye-catching arrangement which includes a raised platform and eight towering chedis, or chapels.

Also visit one of many Roti Sai Mai stores which can be found in Ayutthaya. Roti Sai Mai which means sweet angel hair, is a colorful and flavorful dessert in which cotton candy is wrapped in soft, paper-thin, Pandan-flavored crepes. It has become Ayutthaya’s signature dessert snack. Some people may even say that no visit to Ayutthaya is complete without eating some Roti Sai Mai! During this stop, walk through the shop, down the stairs and under the base of the store to see how the roti sai mai is prepared from scratch. See the huge caldrons of palm oil and sugar and how bags of sai mai are packed and ready to be sold. Also see the countless benches where the sai mai are prepared and hand pulled.

One of the highlights of the day will be a cruise along the Chao Phraya River on the Grand Pearl. Enjoy a buffet lunch featuring a variety of Thai and Western dishes as you cruise along the river back to Bangkok. Relax and take in the riverside lifestyle along the way.

Upon arrival at the Sri Phra Ya shopping center Pier, transfer to the port of Laem Chabang where you will re-board the ship.

    Expected Weather:

Hot and Dry. The average mid-day temperatures can hover to upper 30s C (85-90 F), especially in inland areas like Bangkok. It is less breezy at this time of year; the sun can be quite intense, and the air becomes hazier with the rising humidity. Though sometimes quite hot, the lack of rain still leaves this good time of year to visit the temples.

    What to Bring:

On this tour the key words are comfortable and casual. Remember we are visiting a foreign country and local dress codes should be observed. Please avoid uncovered shoulders, shorts or revealing clothing.

Full length trousers or pants and/or skirts covering the knees are required to be worn when visiting religious sites.

Although dinners are not formal, you may want to bring something a bit dressier for that time of day.

Bring a hat or a head covering for sun protection and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and bug-spray (you should have mosquito repellent for sunrise and sunset hours). It’s also a good idea to bring along a small packet of tissues or wet wipes. It is also suggested that guests wear flat comfortable walking shoes (not sandals or open toed shoes / flip flops). Guests are requested to take-off their footwear and hats when visiting religious sites.

    Local Currency:

Guests are encouraged to bring US Dollars with them as they are most commonly accepted in Thailand. The local currency is the Thai Baht. It is recommend if exchanging money to take smaller denominations of US Dollars with you to do so.

    Electricity

Rooms are equipped with 220-volt, two-pin US style electrical outlets. We recommend travelling with your own adaptor kit should you have electronic devices.

Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)

    1. Guests must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights.

    2. The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type)

    3. These documents need to be sent to the Land Program Team via Reservations at RSSC at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).

    4. Failure to comply with the above regulations may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which Regent Seven Seas Cruises nor our local ground operator be responsible for.

    Documents and Visa Requirements:

This program travels between Singapore and Thailand.

A passport that is valid at least 6 months after travel is required

Please check with your local embassy for any visa requirements for your nationality for any of the countries visited on this program.

    VERY IMPORTANT

The name on your cruise booking, passport, and ANY visas, if required, must all be exactly the same for flight ticket purchase for this program otherwise guests may be denied travel by flight. Please ensure that all documents are identical in spelling to the names provided for your cruise reservation including first, middle and last name. Manifests generated by the cruise line must match your travel documents. Guests are responsible to make sure that there are enough pages in their passports for any visas that are required – Minimum two pages for each visa.

Failure to have the required and correct documents ahead of time could result in denial of travel and guests will have to pay for any expenses incurred in order to not proceed with the program or guests may need to purchase new flight tickets at their own cost.

The above information is subject to change and serves as a guide only. We would like to take this opportunity to remind all of our guests that it is the ultimate and sole responsibility of the guest to ensure they meet the entry requirements for each destination.

If traveling internationally, the countries you are flying to and/ or connecting through may have different document requirements and as such we encourage you to visit the government and airport websites of every country you will be traveling to throughout the journey to familiarize yourself with their requirements for your nationality.
