Explore landmarks in and around Barcelona, including UNESCO World Heritage sites designed by the legendary architect Antoni Gaudí, and enjoy a walking tour of medieval Girona that lends more insight into the Catalonia region.
Note: Due to the amount of walking, this program is not recommended for guests with mobility restrictions.
DAY 1
Upon arriving at the Barcelona International Airport, you will be met in the Arrivals Hall which is outside the luggage claim area. Please look for someone holding a sign with the cruise line logo.
You will then be transferred to the Nobu Hotel Barcelona or a similar hotel, where you will spend the evening. Meals will be on your own today.
Your hotel is located in the Eixample district of Barcelona, just a 10-minute walk to Las Ramblas. Passeig de Gràcia, the city’s nicest shopping street, is easily reached on foot. Emblematic buildings and sights such as Casa Batlló, Casa Milà (La Pedrera), La Sagrada Familia and the Picasso Museum are also nearby if you wish to visit them.
Note: Single guests will transfer in a sedan and couples in a van. Sedans hold 2 pieces of luggage plus 2 carry-on size bags. Vans hold 4 pieces of luggage plus 2-3 carry-on size bags. If you have more luggage than is permissible, a larger vehicle may be required for an additional cost. Please advise your booking agent at least 21 days before sailing if a larger vehicle is required.
DAY 2
After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet the guide and begin touring the city. You will pass the Columbus monument and the waterfront on the way to Sagrada Familia, the extraordinary still-unfinished church that famed architect Antoni Gaudí worked on until his death in 1926. The guide will explain the history of the church and its lengthy ongoing construction during your outside visit.
Continuing on, you will begin walking through the Gothic Quarter, passing landmarks such as the La Seu Cathedral and city hall. A more sweeping view of Barcelona awaits you upon reaching Mount Juic hill, where you may pause for photos. You will then visit Spanish Village, an open-air museum with replicas of characteristic houses from several regions of Spain. As you meander the grounds, you may observe artists such as glassblowers demonstrating their talents.
A lunch including local specialties follows, after which you will return to your hotel. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure with dinner on your own.
DAY 3
After breakfast at your hotel, you will settle in for a direct transfer to Girona, accompanied by a guide. Northern Catalonia’s largest city, Girona is full of museums, galleries and Gothic churches, strung around a tangle of cobbled lanes and medieval walls. Reflections of modernist mansions shimmer in the river that divides the historic center from the commercial center.
During a comprehensive walking tour of the city center, you will enjoy an inside visit of the 12th-century Arab baths and see the remains of Girona’s historical Jewish community. During free time that follows, you might savor lunch on your own before transferring back to Barcelona, where the remainder of the evening will be at your leisure with dinner on your own.
Day 4
Following breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will travel to Colonia Güell, another one of Gaudí’s unfinished works. Like La Sagrada Familia, this church is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Businessman Eusebio Güell commissioned Gaudí to build it for his textile factory workers in the village of Santa Coloma de Cervelló. The church is particularly noteworthy because the famed architect introduced advanced technology on it that he finetuned in later projects.
In time, you will travel to Cavas Freixenet in the heart of the Penedès region, a region well-known in Roman times for producing quality wines. There, you will tour the cellars, learn about the production of its sparkling cava wine and enjoy a lunch of local specialties.
Afterwards, you will return to Barcelona for embarkation.

Delve into the genius of Antoni Gaudí by visiting the legendary architect’s most emblematic creations, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and enhance your understanding of Barcelona with a walk-through of the charming Gothic Quarter. One evening enjoy an authentic flamenco show and spend a day at leisure to experience the city as you please.
Day 1
Upon arriving at the Barcelona International Airport and after exiting Customs, Immigration and luggage collection, meet your local English-speaking driver who will accompany you to the avant-garde Melia ME Hotel which is located in the heart of the Passeig de Gracia, a vibrant shopping and business hub for the city.
Check-in is at 3:00pm. Should you arrive sooner, your room may not be ready. However, luggage can be stored at the reception desk if needed.
Once you have checked-in, you will receive a Welcome Letter with further details for the program, including the final timing of your visits and hospitality desk hours.
Meals will be on your own today.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet a local guide in the lobby for a panoramic drive through Barcelona to La Sagrada Familia. Your guide will describe the church’s exterior and interior features and offer little-known facts about the construction. You will learn that the first architect to undertake this project originally planned a neo-Gothic church but died before it began. Legendary Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí took over the project and while conserving the original layout he soon stamped his personal imprint and distinctive style on the building.
Continuing on, you will soon reach the centrally located Passeig de Gracia – the so-called Champs-Élysées of Barcelona – and follow your guide on an enlightening walking tour along the avenue. Along the way, you will visit architectural treasures such as Casa Batlló, a UNESCO World Heritage site residence that Gaudí designed.
The Batlló family commissioned Gaudí to remodel an existing house, which the architect turned into an Art Nouveau masterpiece. The interior courtyard is covered in ceramic tiles that Gaudí designed – dark blue at the top, shading through lighter blues to white at ground level. The top floor attic has an organic structure formed by Gaudí's characteristic catenary arches. On the roof terrace, the roofline looks like a dragon's flank, pierced by a marble cross with four arms and four sets of chimneys.
You will also visit Casa Milà, a block of flats also known as La Pedrera or The Quarry, which is considered Gaudí's most iconic secular building. Its innovative construction, functionality and aesthetic are outstanding. It too is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the architect’s final residential building.
Following lunch at a well-established restaurant in the heart of downtown, you will return to the hotel. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure.
Day 3
After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your guide and travel to the outskirts of Barcelona to visit Colònia Güell, a 19th-century industrial village where some of Gaudís architectural innovations were first featured. Industrialist and patron of the arts, Eusebi Güell funded the project.
Back in Barcelona, you will visit Park Güell, which was conceived as a residential town inspired by English garden cities. The houses were never built, and the project was turned into a public park named for Güell. At this UNESCO World Heritage site, you can expect to see Gaudí-designed organically inspired buildings decorated with colorful mosaic tiles, a dragon staircase guarded by a salamander sculpture and a portico shaped like a giant wave. The landscape architecture is breathtaking.
A lovely walk will bring you to a little-known gastro-club set in an ancient Catalan country house now surrounded by the bustling city. It is the private home of a young, but vastly experienced chef, who will open its doors for you. A luscious 5-star lunch will be served in the patio, while a Spanish guitarist plays.
From there, you will travel to Casa Vincens, the first modernist residence that Gaudí designed. Now a museum, it exhibits his architectural concept of textured materials, bold colors and flora and fauna motifs.
Free time follows at the hotel, after which you will visit Montjuic Hill, where El Poble Espanyol – The Spanish Village – is located. Built in 1929 for the Barcelona International Exhibition, it was intended to represent an “ideal model” of a Spanish village that contained the main characteristics of all the towns and villages in the peninsula.
After a brief introduction, you continue on to the Tablao de Carmen, a prominent venue for authentic flamenco music. During the show, local delicacies will be served for dinner. Afterwards, you will enjoy a panoramic drive through Barcelona, which will be beautifully illuminated for the evening.
Day 4
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will receive a voucher for the hop-on hop-off bus that will allow you to easily explore Barcelona on your own. There are numerous stops along the way such as the world-renowned Picasso Museum and Passeig De Gracia, a street lined with one fabulous boutique after another.
Lunch and dinner are on your own today.
Day 5
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will meet your guide for a visit to the Güell Palace, a wonderfully unique mansion that Gaudí designed in 1888 for the Catalan industrial tycoon Eusebi Güell. Although the building’s footprint is small, the design creates an optical illusion that makes the palace seem larger than it is.
After visiting, you will enjoy an enlightening walking tour through the emblematic street Las Ramblas, following a route towards the Gothic Quarter, the center of the old city. Sights along the way include Plaça Nova, the cathedral and city hall. You will then drive to the pier to embark the cruise ship.

You will then be transferred by private vehicle to your hotel where you will spend the next four nights. Meals will be on your own today. Hotel check in time is at 3:00pm. Should you have an early arriving flight, you may wish to book an extra night to guarantee your room is available when you arrive or you may store luggage at Reception until the rooms are available.

Note: Due to the amount of walking, this program is not recommended for guests with mobility restrictions.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide in the lobby for a morning tour of the Sagrada Familia. The basilica’s heavily ornate exterior walls, its eye-catching and complex designs, the play of light and shadow on the wall reliefs and the magnitude of the construction are enough to overwhelm even the most ardent of design aficionados. Famed architect Antoni Gaudí envisioned the Sagrada Familia with 18 monumental spires, 10 of which are still under construction.
Next, follow your guide on a leisurely walk along the pedestrian friendly Avinguda Gaudi, passing cafés and shops until you reach Sant Pau Hospital, another modernist masterpiece of Barcelona. This UNESCO World Heritage site complex was built between 1901 and 1930 and designed by the Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. It was a fully functioning hospital until June 2009, when a new hospital opened next to it. The original building has been restored and is now a museum and cultural center.
After visiting the Sant Pau Hospital, enjoy lunch in a lovely restaurant in the upper part of the city offering beautiful views over Barcelona.
A panoramic drive ending at the Gothic Quarter follows lunch. This is the oldest part of Barcelona. You will follow the guide along pedestrian-only alleyways and through lively squares on the way to Plaça Sant Jaume, where you will find the magnificent town hall. You will also see from the outside, the 600-year-old Cathedral of Santa Eulàlia, which was built on the site of a Roman temple dedicated to Hercules, and a section of the medieval walls that once protected the city.
Afterwards, you will return to the hotel to spend the evening. Dinner is on your own.
Day 3
After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet the guide and drive to the magnificent Abbey of Montserrat. Perching atop a multi-peak mountain with fingerlike pinnacles, the abbey offers stunning views of the Catalonia region.
According to the legend, villagers discovered a statue of the Madonna in a grotto centuries ago and as a result, it became a pilgrimage site that still draws thousands to venerate the image, which now resides in a grand basilica. Over time, candle smoke darkened the image, which is now known as the Black Virgin.
Benedictine monks have served the abbey for almost a thousand years. They are dedicated to a life of prayer, work and welcoming pilgrims. You will ascend the mountain on a rack railway, a trip that will present stunning views. Upon arriving at the abbey, you will visit the sanctuary and its museum before enjoying free time for further exploration or simply to admire the beauty of the surroundings.
In time, you will drive to the Pere Ventura wine estate in the Penedes wine region, an area revered for its white wines and sparkling cava. During a comprehensive tour of the estate, you will visit the vineyards, the wine cellar and its underground chapel. A wine tasting follows, as does a spectacular lunch made with locally sourced ingredients.
Afterwards, you will return to your hotel for the evening. Dinner is on your own.
Day 4
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for a short transfer to the Born Quarter, a trendy neighborhood located between the Gothic Quarter and Ciutadella Park. It is one of the liveliest, most historic areas of Barcelona.
Although notorious in medieval times for public executions and the burning of alleged witches, the Born Quarter became more prosperous and respectable in the 13th century. Its labyrinth of narrow streets reveals a wonderful mix medieval and more contemporary architecture that includes the 14th-century Santa Maria del Mar church, a 19th-century market hall and the Center for Culture and Memory.
Upon reaching the Santa Caterina Food Market, you will meet a chef that will accompany you through the stalls and describe the ingredients in many of the most popular local dishes. You will then follow the chef to a nearby venue and prepare a meal for lunch in a hands-on cooking class. The meal will be paired with a selection of cava and wine.
After this enlightening culinary experience, you will return to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure and dinner is on your own.
Day 5
After breakfast at the hotel, the morning will be at your leisure. Around noon, you will check out of the hotel and transfer to the pier to embark the ship. Don’t forget to settle any hotel incidentals before departing.

DAY 1
Disembark the ship in Istanbul and meet your guide before setting out for a glorious day in the city.
Today your tour will concentrate on the Byzantine history of this unique city.
Your first visit will be to the oldest settled areas of the city located around the Golden Horn. Visit Tekfur Palace, The Palace of Porphyrogenitus. This palace served as part of the Blachernae palace complex which was often used by Byzantine emperors starting from the 12th century. As of the 16th century, the building was later named by Europeans as the Great Palace of Constantinople (Palatium Constantini), and later on as the Palace of the Porphyrogenitus. Today it has been restored and serves as a museum.
Proceed next to Pantokrator Monastery which is located on the fourth hill of Constantinople overlooking the Golden Horn. Originally serving as a large monastic complex with a hospital, it was eventually converted into a mosque following the conquest of Istanbul and today it serves as Molla Zeyrek Mosque.
Pass through one of the largest markets in the city called the “Women’s Market” in order to reach the tour coach. From here it’s a short drive to Chora Church which is the second most important Byzantine monument in Istanbul, famous for its magnificent frescoes depicting scenes from the Bible.
Recently renovated, it is now open to the public as a mosque and a museum.
Lunch will be taken at a popular restaurant in the old city.
After lunch proceed to the Hippodrome which has been partially excavated to reveal some of the seats, columns, statues and obelisks that were once part of the arena. Chariot races, coronations and parades all took place at the Hippodrome, which first appeared in 203 A.D. About 130 years later, Constantine the Great expanded and reshaped the arena so it could hold approximately 100,000 spectators.
Your next visit will be at the Hagia Sophia, a former Byzantine church and Ottoman mosque that is now converted to both a mosque and a museum. Although the earliest two versions were destroyed, this Hagia Sophia dates from 537 A.D., and is considered a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. It served as Istanbul’s principal mosque for nearly 500 years and became the model for the Blue Mosque.
No visit to Istanbul would be complete without viewing the famous Underground Cistern. This giant reservoir used to supply water to the city for many centuries.
Your final stop for the day will be at the Spice Market, a locale so energetic and bustling that it’s difficult to know where to look first. Aromas waft through the air, the cacophonous sounds are constant, and it’s always crowded with shoppers haggling for the best possible prices. In a word, it’s wonderful.
At the end of the tour, return to your hotel where dinner and the remainder of the day are at your leisure.
DAY 2
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel either in the restaurant or the Club Lounge and then meet your guide in the lobby for a tour of discovering the Ottoman highlights of Istanbul.
Begin the day with a visit to the incredible Blue Mosque. This is one of the few mosques with six minarets. It was constructed in the early 17th century under the direction of Sultan Ahmet I, who was only 19 years old at the time. The exterior of the mosque is notable for its cascade of domes that seem to spill down from the central dome. Inside, the ceiling is lined with 20,000 blue tiles for which the mosque is so aptly named.
Next you will visit the 15th Century Topkapi Palace, which was expanded under the reign of almost every sultan over the course of four hundred years. Today, it’s a maze of lavishly decorated buildings and courtyards that reflect its most glorious years as the political center of the Ottoman Empire. Time permitting, you will also have the opportunity to visit the Harem section of the Palace that has been the subject of many novels and stories.
Lunch will be enjoyed at a typical local restaurant that serves samples of both Ottoman and Turkish cuisine.
After lunch, enjoy an opportunity to browse through the labyrinthine Grand Bazaar, the world’s largest and the oldest covered marketplace. It contains more than 5,000 shops selling an amazing range of merchandise. Jewelry, carpets, antiques, old coins, furniture, prayer beads and copperware are only a few of the items in the bazaar, which has been operating since the 15th century. Brush up on your bargaining skills for this visit!
Return to your hotel for some time to freshen up and relax before departing for a leisurely sunset cruise on the Bosphorus, the famed strait that connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara, and perhaps even more important serves as a boundary between Europe to the west and Asia to the east. Passing palaces, wooden mansions and even modern villas along the way, you will experience Istanbul from an entirely different perspective, one you’ll not soon forget. Along the way, enjoy local drinks and light canapés on the boat. (Note: boat may not be exclusive to the group)
Return to your hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.
DAY 3
On this last day in Istanbul, you will discover the Asian portion of Istanbul. After breakfast and check-out (don’t forget to settle and incidentals), meet your guide and begin your tour.
Cross over from Europe to Asia via the shortest way in the world, the first bridge over the Bosphorus. On the Asian side, you will visit Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer palace of the Ottoman Sultans.
You will have time to stroll at the waterfront and then continue to visit Kuzguncuk, one of the oldest residential areas of the city on the Asian shores. This is the place where Turks, Armenians and Greeks lived in harmony for many years.
At the conclusion of the tour, you will return to your hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure and lunch and dinner are on your own.
At the end of the tour, you will return to the hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure or should you wish, you can accompany your guide on a walking tour of the famous Pera and Galata Districts of the city (Istiklal Street).
Day 4:
After breakfast and check out you will be transferred to the Istanbul Airport based on your flight departure time. Should you have a later departure time, luggage storage will be available at the hotel until your transfer. Check out time at the hotel is at 12:00pm.

DAY 1
Disembark the ship in Istanbul, meet your guide and begin a drive through Istanbul to see some of its marquee attractions.
Stop for a visit of the phenomenal Blue Mosque. One of the few mosques with six minarets, the Blue Mosque was constructed in the early 17th century under the direction of Sultan Ahmet I, who was only 19 years old at the time. The exterior of the mosque is notable for its cascade of domes that seem to spill down from the central dome. Inside, the ceiling is lined with the 20,000 blue tiles for which the mosque is named.
You will also see the Hippodrome which is partially excavated to reveal some of the seats, columns, statues, and obelisks that were once part of this arena. Chariot races, coronations and parades all took place at the Hippodrome, which first appeared in 203 A.D. About 130 years later, Constantine the Great expanded and reshaped the arena so it could hold approximately 100,000 spectators.
Next you will visit the 15th Century Topkapi Palace, which was expanded under the reign of almost every sultan over the next 400 years. Today, it is a maze of lavishly decorated buildings and courtyards that reflect its most glorious years as the political center of the Ottoman Empire.
After lunch in the Sultanahmet area proceed to the airport for a flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for check in. Dinner is included before you retire for the evening.
DAY 2
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for a full-day, all-encompassing tour of the area. A scenic drive brings you to the Underground city. These troglodyte cave-cities were excavated as early as Hititte times. There are 36 underground cities in Cappadocia and the widest one is Kaymakli Underground city, which consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 of them are open to the public today. The Underground city has a massive living complex beneath the surface that includes churches, stables, wineries, and storage rooms.
Next, you will continue to Sinasos, a former Greek village, which was an important settlement and religious area between the 9th and 13th centuries. The now abandoned settlement is spread over three valleys, which also contain numerous pointed chimneys with large stems and the remains of a monastery.
Following the visits, drive to Çavusin Village is a small, historic settlement located in the heart of Cappadocia, which can be found nestled between the towns of Avanos and Goreme, within a valley that has gradually widened over time Turkey. Locals still live in the rock-cut dwellings and stone houses. The village has variety of historical sites and churches such as ruins from the Christian monks and the Church of St. John the Baptist, which was carved into the rock in the 5th century.
After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy an orientation tour and visit to the town of Avanos village which is known for pottery making. The clay has a beautiful reddish hue and comes from the banks of the Kizilirmak River that flows through the town.
The day concludes back at your hotel where you will have dinner and the remainder of the evening at leisure.
DAY 3
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a full-day tour of Cappadocia where the landscape is stunningly surreal, almost lunar-like. Created by volcanic eruptions and shaped by thousands of years of erosion, the terrain features soaring fairy-tale rock chimneys and ancient dwellings carved out of the rocks. Few places on earth are so visually arresting.
Drive towards the town of Uchisar, whose natural rock citadel is the highest point in Cappadocia and visible from a great distance.
Then, it’s on to the Goreme Open Air Museum, which contains the best-preserved examples of cave churches such as Tokali Church. You will notice that the frescoes adorning the walls are still brightly colored, even after centuries of exposure. More usual rock formations await you near Derbent at the fairy chimneys at Urgup.
Next, visit Zelve-Pasabag, which was an important settlement and religious area between the ninth and thirteenth centuries. The now abandoned settlement is spread over three valleys, which also contain numerous pointed chimneys with large stems and the remains of a monastery.
After lunch at a nearby restaurant, visit the nearby Pigeon Valley, named for the thousands of pigeon houses that have been carved into rock cliffs since ancient times.
Following these visits, there will be a shopping opportunity before you return to your hotel for some time to freshen up before a lovely dinner outing. Drive to the Red Valley; one of Cappadocia’s most beautiful natural wonders with its surreal rock formations, pinkish-red colors, and ancient cave churches. Arriving just before sunset and with champagne in hand, watch all the colors blend together to create a spectacular landscape. This is truly the best place to end the day in Cappadocia. From there, you will proceed to Uçhisar for a delicious dinner in one of it’s local restaurants.
Following this spectacular evening, return to your hotel.
DAY 4
Depending on flight time, enjoy breakfast at the hotel or a breakfast box will be provided. Check out and transfer to the airport for a return flight to Istanbul.
Upon arriving in Istanbul, transfer to the Sultanahmet area for lunch. Continue with a tour of the Hagia Sophia, which was originally built as a church and later became a mosque. Today, the Hagia Sophia (meaning “Holy Wisdom”) is a museum containing phenomenal mosaics, Christian and Muslim religious art and remnants of the church that stood here until 532 A.D., when it was burned in a riot.
To conclude, you will have the opportunity to browse through the labyrinthine Grand Bazaar, the largest and the oldest covered marketplace in the world. It contains more than 5,000 shops selling an absolutely amazing range of merchandise. Jewelry, carpets, antiques, old coins, furniture, prayer beads and copperware are only a few of the items in the bazaar, which has been operating since the 15th century.
From the Bazaar, proceed to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure, dinner is on your own.

Summers in Cappadocia are very hot, with daytime temperatures approaching 38 degrees Celsius (100 degrees Fahrenheit). However, nighttime temperatures fall into the 20’s Celsius (in the 70’s Fahrenheit). Autumn starts in September and ends in November and is the high season for Cappadocia travel. Average temperature at this time is in the 20's Celsius (in the 70’s Fahrenheit).

If received in a timely manner, requests will be sent on the final manifest that our ground operators and hotels receive. Many hotels will charge for distilled water. If there is a fee, this will be added to your hotel incidental account to be paid at check-out. Fees will vary from hotel to hotel.

DAY 1 – April 26, 2026
Upon disembarking the ship at Alexandria, meet you Egyptologist and set off for the 3 hour drive to Cairo. Restrooms are available on the coach, so a comfort stop is not planned.
Upon arrival in Cairo start off with a visit to the Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque, the most popular Islamic Mosque in Egypt.
It is also referred to as the Alabaster Mosque due to the extensive use of alabaster stone on some of the exterior walls and other surfaces. The mosque, the largest such structure built during the first half of the 19th century, is more impressive at a distance than close up. Though its artistic merit is questionable, the mosque is an unparalleled contribution to the Cairo skyline. Situated on the summit of the Citadel high atop the Citadel grounds, its great dome and towering minarets are the first features that catch your eye at the fortress.
As part of your immersive journey, lunch will be offered at the iconic Khan El Khalili market built in 1382. Here, enjoy a traditional Egyptian menu featuring an array of authentic local dishes that reflect the rich flavors and culinary heritage of Egypt.
Following lunch, pay a visit to the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, considered to be the last remnants of the ancient world wonders. During your visit here, marvel at the sheer size of these monumental structures and the magnitude of the labor required in their construction.
Renowned as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramid of Cheops is comprised of 2.3-million stone blocks, each weighing 2.5 tons. Exactly how the ancient Egyptians were able to construct these architectural wonders remains a mystery to this day.
The inscrutable Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the face of a man, was carved from a single block of stone. This massive, 72-foot-high, 164-foot-long feline structure faces east, greeting the rising sun each day. Your visit includes private access to the foot of the Sphinx area.
Your tour of the Pyramids area also includes outside visits to the Cheops and Chephren Pyramids. Note: entry into the pyramids is not included.
Following the Pyramids visit, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in.
After some time to freshen up, transfer to the Grand Egyptian Museum for an after-hours private visit. This Museum is considered to be the largest archeological museum in Africa and the Middle East, where the world’s most important pieces of Egypt’s ancient history are on display.
Spanning approximately 500,000 square meters, it houses over 100,000 artifacts showcasing Egypt's rich history. GEM's galleries offer a chronological journey through 3,000 years of Egyptian history, with exhibits from the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms.
One of the highlights of your visit will be King Tutankhamen exhibition hall where the full collection of the Boy King are displayed in one place.
This evening enjoy dinner at your hotel overlooking the Pyramid of Cheops.
