This Tour takes guests in an unexpected journey through Berlin by visiting landmarks that will provide an intimate sense of history and communicate the local charm that characterizes Berlin.

After your scenic panoramic drive through the Northern German countryside, arrive in Berlin to meet your local guide. Begin your journey in West Berlin, pass by the popular Kurfürstendamm Boulevard, the Memorial Church and the KaDeWe department store building. Head towards the Bavarian Quarter a typical Berlin middle class neighborhood that hosts memorial markers of the Jewish history throughout its streets. Reboard your coach for a scenic transfer through the district of Schoeneberg, passing by a massive concrete remain of what would have been part of Hitler's World Capital "Germania" project, a solid 50 feet cylinder heavy load bearing body.

Reach the park at the original Tempelhof Airport and enjoy a relaxed walk while your guide tells you all about the Berlin Airlift during the Cold War.

Transfer to another traditional neighborhood in Berlin, the one and only Kreuzberg, where you will have the unique opportunity to take a photo at the Waterfall of the Viktoria Park only functioning in the summer! Continue to Bergmanstrasse, a street filled with traditional restaurants and charming stores where you will have an opportunity for shopping and lunch on your own. Admire the 19th century architecture of the buildings and streets and imagine the face of old Berlin.

Join your guide and head by coach to your next fascinating stop, an original WWII bunker at the destroyed station of Anhalterbahnhof, there your guide will give you pointers to go through the exhibition with an audio-guide (unfortunately no guiding tours are allowed inside the bunker, audio-guides only by availability); you will see a detailed exhibition of the emergence of National Socialism, the sorrows they brought to the world and it will finish with the reconstructed space of Hitler’s bunker. A moment to reflect on the historical moments that took place in Berlin that defined the rest of the century and humanity.

Continue your tour passing by Berlin’s key highlights, if you are a first time or returning visitor, it is still heartwarming to see the impressive sites and buildings the city has to offer. Pass by the Berlin Wall, Check Point Charlie, and stop at the Lustgarten for a photo with its surrounding buildings, the Berlin Cathedral, the Altes Museum and the restored Berlin Palace. Continue down Unten den Linden boulevard and stop at Brandenburg Gate. Pass by the German Reichstag, the Tiergarten Park and the Victory Column on your way to the last stop, the Palace of Charlottenburg, where you will say farewell to your guide before returning to your ship.
