Land Programs & Hotels

  • See the most modern, technologically advanced attractions in the capitals of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with an enlightening day in between spent exploring the timeless desert and an authentic Bedouin village.

    Day 1

Arrive at the Dubai International Airport. You will be met outside the Customs area and transferred to your hotel.

Check in time is at 3:00 pm. Although every effort will be made to have the rooms available sooner, this cannot be guaranteed. Should your flight arrive very early in the morning you may wish to book an additional night.

The remainder of the day is at your leisure and all meals are on your own.

Note: Guests arriving at the Abu Dhabi airport will be required to pay a surcharge for a transfer.

    Day 2 – March 18, 2026

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting out for Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates and named after a breed of gazelles by a Sheikh of the Bani Yas tribe. This magnificent city which was founded in 1761 is situated on a small peninsula surrounded by a cluster of islands.

Your tour today offers an ideal introduction to Abu Dhabi. The first stop is the magnificent Grand Mosque of Abu Dhabi. The majestic Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque is probably the most imposing religious and national landmark in Abu Dhabi to date. It is also arguably one of the most important architectural treasures of contemporary UAE society - and one of the most beautiful in the world - initiated no less by the late president HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who is fondly thought of as the father of UAE.

Also pay a visit to Qasr al Watan Palace. Prepare to walk through majestic hallways, uncover centuries of Arabian knowledge, marvel at the beauty of Arabian craftsmanship, express yourself with interactive installations, and delve into the region’s rich heritage of artistic contributions.

Following an enlightening visit at the Palace, the group will dine at a restaurant in the Conrad Etihad Towers. This is followed by a visit to the Louvre Abu Dhabi – the first universal museum in the Arab world. This museum brings the Louvre name to Abu Dhabi and presents both ancient and contemporary works of historic, cultural, and sociological interest from around the world. Virtually surrounded by the sea, the dozens of buildings that comprise the museum are linked by waterfront promenades and by the museum’s most arresting feature – its dome. As sunlight filters through the dome’s perforations, it creates a “rain of light” effect in the museum galleries below.

Return to Dubai where the remainder of the day will be at your leisure and dinner on your own.

**Note: The Grand Mosque does not provide ladies a headscarf or abaya free of charge and there is no shop on sight to buy them. Ladies please come prepared with something to cover you head or entrance will unfortunately be denied. For men and women: no transparent clothing, no shorts or skirts, no sleeveless shirts, no clothing with profanity and no tight clothing (including leggings) or beachwear.

    Day 3

Following breakfast at your hotel enjoy a morning at leisure to enjoy the facilities of the hotel or perhaps to do some exploring near your hotel. Lunch is on your own.

In the afternoon you will depart for an adventurous dune dinner safari. Experience the sheer thrill of driving up and down golden yellow sand dunes in comfortable 4-wheel drive vehicles. Drive past the Bedouin villages and stop at a camel camp to discuss the “news” of the day!

You will then enjoy some thrilling dune bashing with the experienced drivers over golden sand dunes.

Close to sunset, the group arrives at the sunset point where "time stands still". Experience the silence of the desert and watch the stunning vista of endless dunes and the magical desert sunset.

After sunset you will continue your journey deep into the desert until you reach the soft light of a Bedouin Village.

The campsite is specifically built to depict an authentic Bedouin Village with Barasti (dried palm leaves) tents. It is beautifully lit and decorated with rustic carpets and low tables with soft Arabic music in the background. Despite the rustic appeal, the campsite does have modern restroom facilities and basins with running water.

The campsite even has one area set-up with hubbly bubbly water pipes (Shisha’s) where you can relax and try a puff or two of this local favorite past time after your buffet barbeque dinner or you can watch a belly dancer as she dances to the rhythm of the music.

Following this fun filled Arabian evening you will head back to your hotel.

**Note: Guests do not drive. 4-wheel drive vehicles are used and the drive can be quite bumpy. This is not recommended for anyone with bad backs or if they are pregnant. We recommend having a light lunch prior to the commencement of the tour. Please wear casual clothing and bring a light sweater or jacket for the evening hours. This tour is subject to weather conditions. Seating for the dinner is on low divan cushions as per the typical Bedouin way of dining

    Day 4

After breakfast at your hotel and check-out, proceed with your group on a modern Dubai city tour.

Begin with a photo stop at Jumeirah Mosque - a magnificent example of modern Islamic architecture. Another photo stop is made near the world renowned five-star hotel which is a famous landmark of the city “The Burj Al Arab”.

Next, drive through what is considered the 8th wonder of the world - The Palm Jumeirah. Enjoy the drive through Palm Island and take in the beautiful Jumeirah coastline.

Continue to Sheikh Zayed Road and visit the Dubai Mall - the largest shopping mall in the world as well as the most visited retail and lifestyle destination in the world, welcoming over 100 million visitors every year. With more than 1,200 stores and a host of world-class attractions, The Dubai Mall is revolutionizing the modern shopping experience and worth the visit even if you don’t shop!

From here you will walk to the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world. Head up to the 124th floor for the opportunity to view the entire city in the viewing gallery.

Proceed to the Museum of The Future where you will step into the year 2071. Walk past exhibitions that straddle the past and future in a beautiful blend. Admire the gleaming 77-meter torus shaped structure with calligraphy panels all around. The absence of columns inside makes this structure quite a

feat in modern engineering. Spread across five floors are five different chapters covering themes of climate change, ecology, health, wellness, spirituality, imagination, and the future of space travel and living.

Following the museum visit, your program will end with a transfer to the Port of Dubai where you will embark the ship.

  • Visit the most archaeologically important sites in and around Athens, including the Acropolis, the Temple of Poseidon and Ancient Corinth, with a stop at the extraordinary manmade Corinth Canal as well.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an extensive 4-day program that covers a lot of ground by luxury coach. There is a lot of driving involved but guests will have a unique opportunity to visit two of the most precious and sacred sites in a beautiful and unspoiled part of Northern Greece. Due to the amount of walking over uneven ground and steps at the various ancient sites, this program is not suitable for guests who utilize a wheelchair, walker, cane or who have other mobility restrictions.

    DAY 1

Disembark the ship in Piraeus, Greece, meet your guide and set off to Athens for a guided visit to the Acropolis site. You will pass by landmarks such as Constitution Square, the Houses of Parliament, the Neoclassical-style university buildings, the Royal Palace and the Old Olympic Stadium of Athens. The stadium is built entirely of marble and offers a great view of the Acropolis in the distance. The highlight is when you arrive at the foot of the magnificent Acropolis, one of the most famous and photographed ancient monuments in the world.

During the walking tour, the guide describes the history. Once you get to the top, you will have some free time to wander round and admire the ancient temples of Athena Nike and the towering Parthenon.

Afterwards, you will visit the breathtaking Acropolis Museum, whose collection of artifacts was excavated from the Acropolis. After browsing the museum, you will proceed to your hotel to check-in.

Note: Expect high temperatures in the summer months and heavy crowds. There are upwards of 100 or more un-even steps to get to the top of the monument. There is handrail in some spots but not everywhere. Those not wishing to venture to the top can remain at the bottom and wait for the group to return. The ground at the top is uneven. Large bags are not permitted here and must be left on the tour bus.

The remainder of the day is at your leisure with meals on your own.

    DAY 2

After breakfast you will depart your hotel for a guided visit of the Temple of Poseidon. Enjoy a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road, which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and passes through the beautiful suburbs of Glyfada, Kavouri, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza, and Lagonissi.

At Cape Sounion you will visit the 5th century BC Temple of Poseidon, standing some 200 feet above the sea at the edge of a cliff. It is one of the most breathtaking and deeply moving sights in all of Greece. This is the place where the ancient Greeks worshipped their mighty god of the seas, Poseidon.

Lunch will be served in a traditional rustic taverna located in the small town of Kalyvia. In this eatery, you will enjoy truly traditional Greek cuisine.

In the evening, you will take a stroll through the enchanting historical area of Athens with its traditional streets, restaurants, shops and colorful old quarter, where ancient monuments and Byzantine churches are abundant. In the Plaka neighborhood, you will enjoy a traditional Greek dinner before walking back to your hotel.

    DAY 3

After an American breakfast, you will board the coach and head to the Isthmus of Corinth to view the famous Corinth Canal, which is four miles long, 70 feet wide and has sloping sides 170 feet high. It connects the Ionian and Aegean seas to provide a maritime short cut. Note: this program does not include a transit of the canal.

Your next stop will be at Ancient Corinth. The ruins that lie in this area are a surprising mix of a 6th-century BC Greek city and a 44 BC Roman city -- the latter was built after Julius Caesar placed a colony on this desolate site. You will see the ruins and excavations of both, including where the Christian Basilica, the starting lines of a Greek racetrack, a sacred spring with its bronze lion's-head spouts, and the elaborate Roman fountain of Peirene were located.

After lunch you will visit the somber and mighty ruins of ancient Mycenae -- vestiges of a kingdom that, for 400 years, was the most powerful in all of Greece. Enter the Citadel of Mycenae on foot, approaching it through the famous Lion Gate. Inside are the shaft graves discovered by Schliemann. You will also visit the Beehive Tomb, known sometimes as the Tomb of Agamemnon, the Greek Commander-in-Chief during the Trojan War.

A short drive will bring you to the first capital of modern-day Greece after the war of Independence. Nafplion is now regarded as one of the most romantic destinations in Greece, and you will walk through its Venetian and neoclassical buildings, old neighborhoods and large squares. You will see the famous Bourtzi protecting the entrance to the harbor and Akronafplia and Palamidi castles, which add a sense of drama to this stunning seaport town.

    DAY 4

After your breakfast and check out, transfer to the Athens airport for your flight home. Should you have a late flight, luggage storage will be available at the hotel until your transfer time.

  • Explore the beauty and mystery of Egypt’s ancient temples and tombs during this memorable journey to Luxor. Along the way, you will visit the Karnak, Luxor and Hatshepsut Temples, Medinet Habu, Colossi of Memnon and the Valley of the Kings.

    DAY 1

Upon disembarking the ship in Safaga, proceed through security screening and then meet your guide and depart for the 3.5-hour drive to Luxor. There are no stops scheduled as there are restrooms on the coaches.

Upon arrival, a stop will be made for lunch after which you will visit the Karnak Temple. Located about two miles north of the Luxor Temple but connected to it by an impressive avenue of sphinxes, the Karnak Temple was the most important sanctuary of ancient Egypt, and the heart of the cult of the god Amon. Each pharaoh added his own contribution to the temple over the ensuing 2,000 years.

The Ptolemies erected the massive first pylon you will see. Past the second pylon, which is guarded by a pair of huge statues of Ramses II, you will find the great hypo-style hall, the largest hall of any temple in the world. It spans 50,000 square feet and contains 134 enormous columns. You may notice that some of the columns still have traces of the brilliant paint that originally covered them. The third pylon leads to the centre court, and past the fourth pylon is the 97-foot-high obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut, carved from a solid piece of pink granite.

NOTE: Cameras and video cameras are permitted inside the Karnak Temple free-of-charge.

Next, a visit will be made to the Luxor Temple which was originally built during the reign of Amenophis the III and then expanded by Ramses II, who added a statue of himself and two obelisks.

Today, only one of the statues remains at the Luxor Temple; Mohamed Ali gave the other one to Louis Philippe in 1831 and it is displayed at the Concorde in Paris. After Alexander the Great rebuilt the sanctuary in the 4th century B.C., the Romans subsequently rebuilt portions of it, and then the Muslims built a mosque in the temple. NOTE: Cameras and video cameras are permitted inside the Luxor Temple.

Following your visit to the Luxor Temple, you will be transferred back to your hotel for check-in.

In the evening, you will depart for a spectacular sound and light show at the Karnak Temple. It’s an amazing performance that traces the history of Thebes, including the lives of the pharaohs who built the necropolis. Afterwards, you will return to your hotel for dinner.

Please note: Dinner will be served from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Guests attending the Sound and Light Show will dine following the show.

    DAY 2 –

After a buffet breakfast, you will cross over the Nile to the West Bank for a visit to the Valley of the Kings which is hidden in the foothills of the Gourma Mountains. More than 60 tombs of Pharaohs and noblemen have been found in this valley. The kings’ formal names and titles are inscribed in their tombs, along with their images and statues. Between the 18th and 20th Dynasties, the kings abandoned the Memphis area and built their tombs in Thebes.

Cameras and video cameras may be used during your visit but are not permitted inside the tombs. Mobile cameras are allowed and free of charge during the visit inside the tombs.

NOTE: There are a series of steps (up to approximately 20 steps per chamber) to go down into the various tombs and the ground surrounding the tombs is uneven and dusty. It is also extremely hot here.

Continuing on, enjoy a photo stop at the Hatshepsut Temple, whose unique design features a series of grand terraces extending up a cliff with rows of square granite columns blending in with the mountainside.

From here, you will proceed for a visit to Medinet Habu. Built by Ramses III, the temple is among the most interesting of the funerary chapels on the West Bank. The reliefs on both sides of the doorway depict battle scenes of Ramses III clubbing a number of vanquished people, with 86 captives nearby. The text on the north side is a description of the king’s conquest of the Libyans.

After your visit to Medinet Habu, a photo stop will be made at the Colossi of Memnon, which was originally built as a mortuary temple in Thebes and guarded by two gigantic statues on the outer gates. All that remains today are the 75-foot-high, 1,000-ton statues of Amenhotep III. Though damaged by nature and ancient tourists, the statues are still impressive nonetheless. Cameras and video cameras are permitted inside Habu Temple free-of-charge.

Enjoy a buffet lunch back at your hotel before you depart for the 3.5-hour drive back to Safaga to re-embark the ship.

  • Indulge your senses with some of ancient history’s most renowned relics during this scenic and memorable tour of Egypt. The adventure begins with a journey to the world’s greatest open-air museum, Luxor City where you will be exploring the beauty and mystery of Egypt’s ancient temples and tombs. On the following day, fly to Cairo where your adventure continues with visits to the famous Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.

NOTE: This program involves extensive walking over uneven ground and is thus not suitable for guests with walking difficulties or for those who require a wheelchair.

Special Note: Any guests travelling with Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines should read further below for airline stipulations with regards to bringing this equipment on tour.

    Day 1

Upon disembarking the ship in Safaga, you will be met by your guide and depart for the 3.5-hour drive to Luxor. Restrooms are available on the coach therefore no stops are planned along the way. Coaches are escorted along the way.

Upon arrival in Luxor the group will enjoy lunch before crossing the fabulous Nile River by motor boat and proceed to the West Bank area for a visit to the Valley of the Kings. It is here you will find the remarkable tombs of Egypt's ancient kings, their families and other Egyptian nobility.

Note: there is a step or two down into the boat, the boat is fully covered but open on the sides.

Ample time is allotted here for you to fully explore this wonderful site. The ticket you receive will include entry to three tombs of your choice. The ground is uneven and there are many steps to enter each of the various tombs.

Next, it's on to Hatshepsut Temple where there will be a short photo stop. This awesome mortuary temple that was buried under sand for centuries was built by Hatshepsut, the only woman to rule as a Pharaoh. Built into the mountainside, it stands as an incredible monument to the powers held by the pharaohs.

A second photo stop follows at the Colossi of Memnon - two massive statues that originally flanked the entrance to Amenhotep III's mortuary temple. Although the temple itself was destroyed in an earthquake and most of its remnants have long since disappeared, these magnificent statues still stand guard today, albeit over an open field.

Finally, a visit will be made to the Luxor Temple. This renowned ancient structure was originally built during the reign of Amenophis the III and then expanded by Ramses II, who added a statue of himself and two obelisks. Today, only one of them remains at the Luxor Temple; the other one was given by Mohamed Ali to Louis Philippe in 1831, and is displayed at the Concorde in Paris to this day. After Alexander the Great rebuilt the sanctuary in the 4th century B.C., the Romans subsequently rebuilt portions of it and the Muslims built a mosque in the temple.

Note: Cameras and video cameras are permitted inside the Luxor Temple. The ground is uneven here.

Following your visit to the Luxor Temple, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed buffet dinner at your hotel.

    Day 2

After an early wake up call, breakfast boxes will be distributed by the hotel before proceeding to the Luxor Airport for a 60-minute flight to Cairo.

Upon arrival in Cairo, considered to be the largest city in Africa and the Middle East, the group will enjoy a buffet breakfast at a deluxe hotel before starting the day’s touring.

Your first visit of the day will be the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Opened in 1902, the museum has over 107 halls displaying the world's largest and richest collection of Egyptian antiquities, including statues, mummies , the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamen. NOTE: there are steps in the museum

After your museum visit, lunch will be offered in a deluxe restaurant before visiting the only remaining wonders of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.

The Giza Plateau consists of three major pyramids or tombs, built by the Pharaohs Cheops, his son Chephren and Chephern's son Mykerinus, where their mummified bodies would rest for eternity.

Situated in front of the pyramids of Chephren, is the guardian of this ancient mortuary complex: the legendary Great Sphinx. This monumental statue, with the body of a lion and head of a human, was carved from a single piece of Giza plateau bedrock and is considered a national symbol of both ancient and modern Egypt.

At each site you will have ample time to walk around and take photos although no inside visits are permitted. Please be aware that there will be vendors selling merchandise and camel rides which you should do only at your own risk.

Following the Pyramids visit, drive back to the Cairo Airport for the flight to Hurghada which is located approximately 60 km away from the port of Safaga. Once you have arrived you will be met and transferred to Safaga where you will re-board the ship.
