As you relax with a drink in hand, you will likely cruise along three parallel canals within the Golden Bend, a network of concentric semi-circular canals that are so historically important and such marvels of engineering that UNESCO deemed them a World Heritage site. The canals were dug in the 17th century and are now lined with gabled houses and countless landmarks.
