Join a hands-on cooking class at a château on the outskirts of medieval Saint-Emilion and then dine on your fabulous creations. After an enlightening introduction to the Château Ambe Tour Pourret, you will head for the kitchen, where you will learn to prepare several classic French dishes using locally sourced seasonal ingredients. The chef will demonstrate step by step how to cook each dish to perfection and offer easy-to-follow techniques and tips to ensure success. As you dine on each of the three courses, an exemplary wine will be served that ideally pairs with it. Expect only the best as Saint-Emilion has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site for its outstanding wines. You will also be treated to a tour of the estate cellars where the organic wines are aged in a climate-controlled environment. As you will discover, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes grow best in the estate’s terroir.
