Bar Harbor is home to Acadia National Park, which is the perfect place to go for a stroll. It has everything that a lover of nature and the outdoors would want, like scenic biking trails and walking paths all with astounding views of the ocean and Mount Desert Island.
The months of September and October are the best times to cruise here because that’s when the leaves are at their most colorful. What’s most special about Maine’s foliage is the contrasting colors from brilliant maples that turn bright red, to oak and elm that turn a dark orange, and birches that become gold. Be sure to bring your camera, iPad or iPhone to take lots of photos of the fantastic foliage. It’s absolutely magical.
Montréal is a wonderful city to visit, especially in the fall, and there are many places to see fall foliage in and around the city. Among them is the Montréal Botanical Garden. Ocean Drive is also a great option as the fall colors pop against the stunning views of the ocean and Newport's historic mansions.
