Admire the landmarks in the elevated Old Town of Monaco before descending into Monte Carlo to spend free time in its famed casino. As you pass the Oceanographic Museum, you will notice that it is built into the rock cliff, making it one Monaco’s most distinctive buildings. Nearby, you will find the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, where in 1956 Prince Rainier III married Grace Kelly in what was hailed as the wedding of the century. You will also see the palace of the reigning prince, where the ritual changing of the guard is performed daily in the square out front. During the free time that follows, you may dine on your own. Afterwards, you will drive down into Monte Carlo, the quarter where you will find the grand casino, the most recognized building in Monte Carlo. While there, you might browse the boutiques and linger over a beverage on the terrace of the Café de Paris.
