説明

Feast your eyes on the fabled Scottish scenery of Loch Lomond and indulge your whiskey taste buds to a tour of Glengoyne Distillery. Your panoramic coach heads out from Greenock pier, tracing the banks of the River Clyde, where great wooden ships once began their voyages to sea. With views of Glasgow in the distance, you’ll turn northward through the countryside and past Loch Lomond, Britain’s largest and arguably most beautiful freshwater lake. Traversing this magnificent and mysterious landscape, your guide will recount tales of Rob Roy, the Scottish hero who led Clan MacGregor into many a battle within these valleys – centuries before Liam Neeson portrayed him in the movie role. After this stunning scene, you’re off to tour Glengoyne Distillery and learn about the heritage of their whiskies and the unique processes used to produce them. Best of all, you’ll have the opportunity to sample two different drams. The venue’s setting offers excellent views over the Campsie Fells and a waterfall, and its distillery gift shop offers their bottles and other souvenirs for purchase. The coach ride back to Greenock passes through yet more serene countryside, dotted with appealing villages.
