With over two hours of free time at Walplein Square, you can savor a relaxed lunch on your own and browse the shops for fine Belgian lace and chocolates. A stroll past the romantic Lake of Love brings your Bruges exploration to a close.

Helpful Hints

  • Wear weather-appropriate clothing; dress conservatively to enter the cathedral.
  • Flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
  • Bring a hat, light rain jacket or umbrella, and sunglasses and sunscreen as needed.
  • This tour includes some 2.5 hours of moderate walking, plus any additional done at guests’ discretion during free time. Some steps and uneven and cobblestone surfaces are involved, and guests must be able to enter and exit the canal boat via a few steep steps. The tour is not available to wheelchair guests and not considered suitable for those with mobility concerns.
