Along with your onboard chef instructor and local Roman culinary guide, explore Rome with an intimate group of fellow foodies as passionate about authentic Roman cuisine as you are. Your Culinary Arts Kitchen Chef will lead the way through Rome’s frenetic Mercato Trionfale, a collection of some 200 stalls overflowing with every imaginable local delicacy, including organic chicken and quails. All the while, you will be noshing on irresistible samples such as local wine, cheese and porchetta. Free time to wander about Campo de’ Fiori square follows, an experience made even more deliciously entertaining with a map of the chef’s favorite gourmet shops in hand. Incredibly, it is just a prelude to a sumptuous lunch of classic Roman pasta dishes at a restaurant behind the Spanish Steps that the chef holds in high esteem. To round out the experience, you will head to a rooftop in the neighborhood for a farewell beverage and to drink in the panoramic view.
