The Old Stock Exchange sports a signature spire formed by entwined dragons’ tails, while the gable-roofed buildings along Nyhavn quay show off their bright colors. Christianshavn’s canals are narrow and wonderfully atmospheric, while the striking Black Diamond library building shimmers in its angular black granite-and-glass skin. A brief coach transfer brings you to this town’s true historic playground, Tivoli Gardens. Here you’ll have time on your own to do as you please.
