Land Programs & Hotels

  • Delve into the sacred and mysterious landmarks of the Inca Empire, including the famed Machu Picchu, Lost City of the Incas, and other ancient temples, all important archaeological monuments from the Inca Empire. Also visit the stunning Sacred Valley which is home to several Indigenous communities where you will learn of their techniques for survival.

    Special Notes:

This program begins in Lima, Peru and ends in San Antonio, Chile where guests will board the ship. Arriving flights must be booked into the Lima International Airport. The program includes an economy class international flight from Lima to Santiago. All flight schedules are subject to change up to the time of departure by the airline. Please ensure passport details are added to your cruise booking right away so that Machu Picchu entry tickets can be purchased. Please verify the expiry date – passports must be valid for at least six months after travel in order to enter Chile and Peru.

As this is an active program that takes place at high altitudes, we strongly recommend that all guests should consult with their physician regarding their ability to participate prior to signing up. This program is not recommended for guests who require the use of a wheelchair or walker due the variety of surfaces required to be navigated. Any guests travelling with Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines should read further below for airline stipulations with regards to bringing this equipment on tour.

    DAY 1

After flying into Lima International Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel in the Miraflores district in the heart of Lima.

Should your flight arrive early in the morning you may wish to book an extra night to ensure that your room is ready upon your arrival. Hotel check in time is at 3:00pm. Day rooms must be requested directly with the hotel.

This evening, please re-pack your bags accordingly as luggage storage for excess luggage will be available at the hotel from Day 2 – 5. We suggest bringing a carry-on only for the next few days (keeping in mind rules for liquids/gels etc). Any luggage to be left in storage should be properly labelled with your name and suite number on the ship. Don’t forget to take any valuables, medications and documents with you.

Meals are on own at your leisure today.

    DAY 2

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for our flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, get acquainted on a city tour.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit with the splendid Baroque-style Cusco Cathedral, built in the mid-1500s on the foundations of an Inca palace. Many of the stones used in its construction were looted from the nearby Sacsayhuaman fortress.

Next, visit the sacred site of Koricancha. Here, we will admire the lovely Dominican Convent of Santo Domingo that was built on the foundations of the Temple of the Sun, the most sumptuous temple in the Inca Empire. The curved, mortar-less masonry wall at the west end of the church is one of the greatest existing examples of Inca stonework.

Continuing, the next stop is Sacsayhuaman fortress. Strategically located on a hill overlooking Cusco, the fortress was constructed without mortar like many other Inca structures. Yet the enormous stones (some weighing 200 tons) of the remaining walls fit so tightly that not even a thin blade of grass can slide between them. The craftsmanship is a stunning example of the Inca’s sophisticated construction techniques and architectural skills.

After the visit of the city and sights, check into the J.W. Marriott El Convento Hotel for overnight. Dinner on your own this evening.

NOTE: Your room at the J.W. Marriott will have an oxygen enriched system to help you acclimate to the altitude. This upgrade service has been included in this package.

    DAY 3

Following breakfast, you drive further into the “Sacred Valley of the Incas.” This route with wonderful landscapes, will take you to Ollantaytambo Fortress which you will visit before heading to the Ollantaytambo station to board the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu.

Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, there is a short walk to the bus station where you will board a transfer bus to the ruins. First, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before entering the site of Machu Picchu where you will explore the famous “Lost City of the Incas.” This citadel in the clouds was constructed as a royal retreat for the Inca emperor Pachacuti in the 1400s but was abandoned less than 100 years later, its population probably devastated by smallpox. Because the Spanish conquistadors never found this hidden city, Bingham discovered it largely intact.

Architectural highlights include the Temple of the Sun, designed much like the one in Cusco, several other temples, hundreds of terraces, and a mysterious carved stone situated on a raised platform that towers above the plaza. This stone may have been used for astronomical observations, but no one knows for certain. The Inca had no written language, so there is no record of Machu Picchu’s ultimate purpose. In fact, scholars are still striving to uncover clues as to its mysteries.

After visiting Machu Picchu, re-board the Vistadome Train and begin the journey back to Ollantaytambo Train Station. Prior to returning to your hotel in Cusco, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Note: Machu Picchu stands at approximately 2,450 m above sea level, and Cuzco at 3,400 m. At these heights, there’s 20 per cent less oxygen in the air. In the vast majority of cases, symptoms of altitude sickness are very mild (a little sleepiness or a slightly foggy head) and wear off after a day or two, but it can make doing anything energetic feel like a struggle. It is recommended that you speak to your physician prior to signing up to discuss any potential side effects based on your medical history. Due to the amount of walking and over uneven terrain and/or steps, this program is not recommended for guests with limited mobility. Should you require use of any mobility aids, you may be required to hire a separate guide in order to assist along the way. Vehicles are not permitted inside the site.

    DAY 4

After breakfast, you will visit a rural Andean highland community known as the “Village of Beautiful Flowers” to meet the Quechua-speaking farmers and weavers. Learn of their traditions and how these people live today in the Andean countryside.

Visit their kitchens and see how they prepare their food on wood-fired mud-brick stoves. The welcoming villagers will offer a demonstration of textile technique and design which is an essential feature of Peruvian life. While sharing their knowledge with us, they will reveal the symbolic meanings encoded into their cloth and styles of dress.

You will also learn about the heart of the Andean agricultural cycle - as vital today as it was in Inca times - as your Quechua hosts show you how they hand-turn the soil on the mountainsides. They will also invite the group to join them in blessing their earth, their animals, and the new-plowed land.

Following this celebration of profound Andean traditions inherited from the Inca past, return to Cusco with a stop for lunch en-route. The remainder of the day is at leisure with dinner included at the hotel.

    DAY 5

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Cusco airport for a flight to Lima.

Upon arrival, the group is met and returned to the hotel in the Miraflores District. Guests will be re-united with any stored luggage.

The remainder of the day is at your leisure with lunch and dinner on own.

    DAY 6

Early in the morning, transfer to the Lima Airport for a flight to Santiago, Chile. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to the port of San Antonio where you will embark the ship.

Note: All luggage will accompany guests on the flight to Santiago. See further below for luggage restrictions and fees for excess and overweight luggage.

Land Program Details Step by Step:

•Please note: The order of sites visited may vary to avoid congestion. This program is subject to flight confirmations which are beyond our control. All program details including timings and any flights indicated below are approximate, given here for general reference purposes and subject to change. Direct flights are never guaranteed.

•Itineraries with the most up to date details (at the time) will be issued when you are emailed your final cruise documents 21 days prior to sailing. You will then receive one last final itinerary from our ground operator with a Welcome Letter upon arrival or at your hotel. Please review that Welcome Letter and your final itinerary carefully for any further amendments.

•The hotels used for your land program will be the hotels listed in this document unless you have been advised otherwise in advance of the land program start date.

•Guests failing to arrive on Day 1 of a scheduled land program will be considered a no-show and their hotel space released.

    Extra Nights

•All extra nights booked through the cruise line are confirmed at the hotel that is used on the FIRST NIGHT of your land program.

•If you book extra nights through the cruise line, you will be met as per the flight details provided and transferred to your hotel. Check-in is 3:00pm (subject to change). Meals other than breakfast, as well as activities, are on your own until day 2 of the program.

•If you have an early-arriving flight, you may wish to book an extra night as your room will not be ready for occupation until approximately 3:00pm.

•If you book extra nights on your own, transfers are not included.

    DAY 1

After arriving at the Lima International Airport, you will transfer to the Pullman Hotel in Miraflores or similar hotel. Any meals are on your own today.

Although every effort will be made to have the room available before the 3:00pm check in time, this cannot be guaranteed. If you are arriving early, you may wish to book an extra night to ensure that a room is ready upon your arrival or store your luggage with the Concierge and feel free to use the amenities of the hotel until your room is ready.

    Meet and Greet and transfers

•Final cruise documents will be emailed 21 days prior to sailing. The local ground agent’s telephone number will be on page 1, if you can’t locate the meet-and-greet representative upon arrival. Be aware that the representative may be assisting others and may not be in sight when you first exit Customs and the luggage claim area.

•After arrival controls, please retrieve your luggage and look for your representative within the airport terminal. Look for someone holding a sign with the cruise line logo.

•Meet and greet and transfers are arranged for guests arriving on Day 1 of a land program or for extra nights booked through the cruise line and are arranged based on the flight details received by guests at least 14 days before sailing. Guests arriving independently before the program start date will not have a transfer included.

•After arrival controls, please retrieve your luggage and look for your representative within the airport terminal.

•If we have not received your flight details or your flights have changed, and the Destination Services Land Team has not been notified, then a transfer cannot be provided, and guests will be responsible for getting to the land program hotel at their own expense. Please immediately contact our Reservations Department for any flight changes before departure.

Daily temperatures average 18 °C (64 °F).

    What to Bring:

Temperatures will change as altitudes and time of day change, so it’s best to bring shorts as well as long trousers, and clothing we can layer. Cathedrals, churches, and other religious sites require conservative dress. Both males and females should cover their arms, legs and shoulders.

•Local standards dictate a neat, clean outfit for dining in restaurants and touring urban areas. For men: long trousers and a shirt with a collar. For ladies: trousers or a knee-length (or longer) skirt with a modest top. Formal clothing is not necessary.

•A sweater or lightweight jacket for the cooler evening temperatures common in highland regions.

    Local Currency:

Peru’s currency is the Nuevo Sol (S/.)

    Electricity:

The current is 220 volts AC. In most hotel bathrooms, there is an electrical outlet with 110 volts for electric shavers, but this should not be used for travel irons or hair dryers. Most hotel rooms are equipped with hairdryers. We recommend bringing your own travel adaptor for electronic devices if they do not conform to the above voltage.

Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)

    1. Guests must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry this equipment with them on their flights. Please indicate if CPAP will be used in flight or not.

    2. The certificate should have attached a picture of the equipment with its description/specifications especially with regards to the type of batteries used (lithium/dry or any other type)

    3. These documents need to be sent to the Land Program Team via Reservations at RSSC at least one month prior to travel so that our local operator can begin the notification process with the airline(s).

    Documents and Visa Requirements:

This program takes place between Peru and Chile.

A passport that is valid at least 6 months after travel is required.

Please check with your local embassy for any visa requirements for your nationality. Travelers to Peru will receive a card from Peruvian immigration upon arrival stating the length of approved stay (usually 90 days)

Passport details will be required to be added to your booking no later than 3 months before travel. Passport details are required for purchase of entry tickets to Machu Picchu. Should we not receive your details in time, there is a risk of tickets selling out and not being available to you. • Experience the natural and architectural wonders of Chile by driving through the majestic Andes, exploring cities such as colonial Valparaiso and the capital of Santiago, and by tasting some of the country’s premier wines.

    Day 1

After proceeding through immigration and customs at the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago, Chile, your local guide will meet you at the exit number 3 and will take you to your transportation, then directly to your hotel in Santiago.

Check in is at 3:00pm. Although every effort will be made to have rooms available before this time, this cannot be guaranteed.

The day is at your leisure with any meals on your own.

    Day 2

After breakfast, you will board a coach and begin a tour that will include the most important highlights of historical and modern Santiago, including the presidential palace, San Francisco Church and the Plaza de Armas with a visit to the Cathedral.

You will then proceed to the Santa Rita Vineyard, located just 45 minutes away from Santiago. Placed in the foothill zone of Alto Jahuel, in Buin, the vineyard is surrounded by an extraordinary natural environment. The tour will reveal the characteristic wines produced here.

Afterwards, you will pause for lunch at Restaurant Doña Paula. This national monument honors Paula Jaraquemada, who owned the main house of the Santa Rita Estate more than 200 years ago.

The estate was the setting for significant historical occurrences associated to Chile’s independence. General Bernardo O’Higgins and 120 soldiers took refuge there after a battle against the forces of the Spanish crown. The winery’s Santa Rita 120 line of products was named to honor those 120 patriots.

    Day 3

As you begin your journey into the Andes, weather permitting, you may be able to see Mount Aconcagua in the distance. As you climb higher, you will surely be impressed as the mountainous scenery unfolds and the guide explains the natural history of the Andes.

Portillo is located at high above sea level next to the Laguna del Inca with its emerald green waters. The World Ski Championship was held here in 1966 – the only one held in South America until 1990. You will stop at the lake for photos and to enjoy lunch at a restaurant before returning to Santiago.

Back at the hotel, the evening will be at your leisure with dinner is on your own.

    Day 4

You will also ride a cable car to a lookout that presents sweeping views over the city and bay.

Afterwards, you will drive to the port of San Antonio for embarkation.

    DAY 1 – January 28, 2026

After proceeding through Immigration and Customs at the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago, you will meet your driver inside the terminal after main exit, close to gate N° 3. You will then be transferred by private vehicle directly to the Ritz Carlton Hotel or similar.

Check in upon arrival has been included in the cost of the program.

The remainder of the day will be at leisure and meals are on your own.

The hotel is located within walking proximity to a variety of restaurants and bars. Your hotel concierge will be happy to assist with any dinner recommendations and reservations.

Note: There can be up to a 10-12-minute walk depending on your arrival gate to get to Customs and Immigration. Our local team will be waiting for you as you exit the luggage claim area.

    DAY 2 – January 29, 2026

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, you will be met and transferred (2.5-3-hour drive depending on traffic) to the Colchagua Valley, whose name in the local indigenous language means “valley of small lagoons”. The land was originally the home of Mapuche warrior tribes and later marked the southern boundary of the Inca Empire.

Upon reaching Millahue (in the Cachapoal Valley), you will arrive at Viña Vik, an architecturally extraordinary hotel and winery. A visionary blend of wine, architecture, landscape and luxury, this property has always placed innovation and science at the center of everything it does.

Much of the hotel is built into the natural landscape and capped with an incredible undulating titanium roof that can be seen from miles around. From the winery below and when the sun is shining, the roof appears to be made of gold. This stunning feature was built this way to pay homage to the valley which was nicknamed “Lugar de Oro or Golden Place” by the native Mapuche people. Norwegian entrepreneur Alexander Vik, with his keen eye for designing stunning buildings, has truly created a property that is like no other.

The hotel features twenty-two individually decorated and distinctive suites with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in the breath-taking views. Decorated according to individual themes, the suites feature exclusive art and design, from elegant pieces of furniture to inspired murals and decorations, as well as exquisite sculptures and paintings.

Upon arrival, your visit will start with a tour and tasting of the renowned wines of Vik Winery. As you look around the entire property you will see 4,400 hectares of astonishing Chilean wilderness in which only approximately 327 hectares of vines have been planted. This majestic and natural landscape is composed of 12 valleys, each one with its own micro-climate, distinct exposures, all within a wind-tunnel cooled by Pacific coastal breezes and winds from high up in the Andes mountains that provide VIK with enormous complexity and exceptional variety.

After your tour of the winery, you will proceed to the hotel for check in and lunch at Mila Mila Restaurant.

Following a short tour to become acquainted with the amenities of the hotel and winery, you will spend the remainder of the day participating in whichever activity you choose.

Throughout your stay, take time to unwind at the cantilevered slate pool that extends out over the valleys and the lake below. (The sunsets are spectacular from the pool deck). Enjoy delicious meals that are served in a variety of settings, from the indoor dining room to the expansive outdoor terraces that look out onto the valley, lake and vineyard or even in their newly opened and rustic “garden to table” BBQ restaurant.

At the spa, you may wish to pamper yourself and indulge in a massage, facial or body scrub using products made from grapes grown on the property (additional cost) and in the evening perhaps enjoy stargazing beneath incredibly clear night skies.

Optional activities that are included during your stay are:

•Orchard tour with seeds and flower tasting

•Wine tasting paired with creamy chocolates

    •Mixology class

    •Bicycling, hiking and bird watching

•Enjoying the hotel sauna, swimming pool and game room

Additional activities may be available for purchase. Your Vina Vik Concierge will be able to assist in setting up your schedule.

Note: There may be other hotel guests participating in the same experiences.

Later in the day, dinner will be provided at Mila Mila Restaurant. Be sure to check out the “art wall” in the restaurant – see if you can spot the RSSC and don’t be afraid to add your own personal touch!

    DAY 3 – January 30, 2026

After breakfast, the RSSC group will set out on a horseback ride along trails with immediate views of the vineyard and mountains. Note how the winery has been designed to blend seamlessly into the landscape and can barely be seen over the vines depending on your vantage point. After returning, refresh and then proceed to a cooking class activity. This experience includes a visit to the organic vegetable garden, where guests will be able to hand pick the various ingredients that will later be used in the cooking class. The experience ends with a tasting of the dishes paired with Vik’s iconic wines.

The remainder of the day will be at your leisure. Choose to relax or participate in one of the optional activities. Please consult with the hotel concierge for a list of your included optional activities operating on this day.

Dinner is included at Mila Mila Restaurant.

After breakfast, the day can be spent doing whatever you wish. Please consult with the hotel concierge for a list of your included optional activities operating on this day. We recommend enjoying lunch at the restaurant adjacent to the winery for lunch.

This evening, enjoy a BBQ Countryside group dinner to crown your visit at Viña VIK Hotel.

    DAY 5 – February 1, 2026

  • Experience Buenos Aires like a local porteño by watching a traditional tango performance, visiting atmospheric neighborhoods and enjoying an Argentine asado of grilled meats at country ranch.

    DAY 1

Following disembarkation, you will begin a half-day sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires, starting in the neighborhood La Boca, where you will view El Caminito, a street that is an open-air museum of sorts full of brightly colored buildings. Some claim the tango originated here around 1870, and tango dancers are often seen performing impromptu in the streets.

Continuing on, you will pass the city hall and Metropolitan Cathedral, which is adorned with frescoes and elaborate artwork. You will also see Casa Rosado, the executive mansion. President Juan Peron and his wife Eva, more affectionately known as Evita, delivered numerous speeches from the balcony.

Then, it’s on to the affluent La Recoleta neighborhood and the Recoleta Cemetery, the final resting place for Argentina’s wealthy and powerful. It holds thousands of grandiose mausoleums containing the remains of generals, sports figures and most famously Evita.

A snack at Café Tortoni follows. This historic cafe has served as the artistic and intellectual capital of Buenos Aires since 1858, hosting notable guests such as Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges. Founded in 1858, the café is the oldest coffee shop in the country.

After touring the city, you will transfer to your hotel where the remainder of the day will be at your leisure. Lunch and dinner will be on your own.

    Day 2

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will spend the day at a traditional estancia ranch in the countryside, a beautiful land that is home to the gaucho. The owners will be your hosts, and during your stay they will regale you with stories about the differences between modern country life and country life years ago.

Lunch will be a hearty asado of grilled meats with empanadas, accompanied by excellent Argentinean wines.

The entertainment will be just as outstanding. You will enjoy folk songs and dances, equestrian activities and an extraordinary demonstration of traditional gaucho skills, such as ring races and horse races and games.

Following your time at the estancia, you will return to the hotel to spend the evening. Dinner will be on your own.

    DAY 3

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will spend most of the daylight hours as you please. The hotel is centrally located in Buenos Aires, and there is plenty to enjoy nearby, including museums, shops and restaurants.

Your evening will be spent watching an authentic tango performance over dinner. Although the exact origin of the tango is unclear, there is no denying that the sultry dance is mesmerizing. The rhythmic music and mournful lyrics are just as alluring, as they often tell a story of lust, betrayal and loneliness. You don’t have to speak the language to feel the passion of tango.

After the tango performance, you will return to the hotel for the evening.

    DAY 4

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out (by 12nn) and transferring to the Ezeiza International Airport for your flight home. Transfers will be set up based on the flight details provided. Should you have a late flight, luggage storage is available at the hotel.

After lunch on own, set off on a true 4×4 expedition with a skilled driver where you will access the most remote places of Deep Patagonia. Leaving from El Calafate drive to the south and reach panoramic points from which you will contemplate the immensity of the landscape. In view are the Verlika and Baguales hills that mark the southern limit with Chile.

Fossilized oyster reefs, unexplored chenques (Tehuelches burial sites), various native flora and fauna are some of the natural riches that you will see along the way.

Finally, arrive at Estancia 25 de Mayo – an authentic Patagonian house located 800 meters above sea level. Here, enjoy dinner before returning to the Xelena Hotel for the evening.

    DAY 2

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to Los Glaciares National Park, an expansive protected area covered by an ice mantle. After reaching the Patagonic Andean Forest, you will pause for photos at the Curve of Sighs, a lookout where you will have the first view of the Perito Moreno Glacier rising majestically above the landscape.

Next proceed to the "Bajo de las Sombras" port located 7km from the glacier catwalks. Once there, board a large catamaran style boat to navigate the Lago Rico where you will be able to appreciate the amazing walls of the Perito Moreno Glacier, its icebergs and its continuous and thunderous collapses over the Lago Rico. One stop is made approximately 300 meters (984 feet) from the southern wall of the glacier, to take a closer look at the landscape.

Return to the National Park for lunch at one of its restaurants. After lunch approach the glacier by walking down catwalks that will present several other panoramic viewpoints of this wonderful creation of Mother Nature. Chances are, you will see and hear large chunks of ice calving from the glacier and thundering into the water of Lago Argentino. It will be an experience that you will not soon forget.

After this day, which is sure to amaze, all guests will return to the hotel, where dinner will be served.

    DAY 3

Following breakfast at the hotel and settling any incidentals, check out and transfer to the airport for the flight back to Buenos Aires. Depending on flight time either proceed directly to your hotel or proceed to the hotel with a panoramic city tour en-route. A boxed lunch will be provided.

Points of interest you may see on the city tour include the main square Plaza de Mayo, which is surrounded by the Casa Rosada presidential headquarters, the colonial town hall and the cathedral. You may also drive to Caminito and see the colorful tin houses of La Boca and proceed through the elegant Barrio Norte on the way to the Recoleta Cemetery, an above-ground cemetery lined with mausoleums and statues. No visit to Buenos Aires would be complete without a stop at the famous Biela Café – one of the most historic and prestigious bars in the city is also a favorite meeting place for Buenos Aires citizens. (the number of sites seen will be dependent on the arrival time of your flight).

Guests will be re-united with any stored luggage upon checking in to the hotel in Buenos Aires.

The remainder of the day is at your leisure and dinner is on own.

    DAY 4

After breakfast at the hotel, settle any incidentals before checking out. You will be transferred to the Buenos Aires International Airport based on the flight details provided. Should you have a later flight, luggage may be stored at the hotel until your transfer.

    Expected Weather

Seasons in South America are exactly opposite of those in North America. Rain can fall any time of the year. In Buenos Aires, a hot and humid climate should be expected during the summer (December-March). The average high in the summer is 90F/32C and the average low is 65F/18C.

The climate in El Calafate is primarily dry and its extremes of cold and heat are moderated by the influence of Lake Argentino. In summer the weather is dry, sunny, cool and windy; the average temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius (68°Fahrenheit), but it can reach a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius (86°Fahrenheit). Minimum temperatures can fall to 10ºC (50°F).

    What to Bring

Light, loose clothing, good hiking boots or shoes and a warm jacket for cooler temperatures at El Calafate. Bring mosquito repellant as well.

    Currency

The official Argentine currency is the peso. U.S. dollars are accepted in most places.

    Electricity

220 volts A.C. (50 Hz). We recommend bringing your own travel adaptor if required.

    Luggage

The luggage weight restrictions on domestic flights are:

    5kg/11lbs for carry-on luggage

    15kg / 33lbs for checked-in luggage

Fees for excess or overweight luggage will be the responsibility of each guest and payable upon check in for flights.

Excess luggage will be stored at the hotel in Buenos Aires where you will be reunited with it on Day 3. Don’t forget to bring medications, valuables and documents with you.

Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)

1.Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC) - Guests must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry a POC. Further paperwork may be required by the airline.

2.CPAP Machine NOT being used in flight – please advise RSSC at least 95 days before your cruise if you will bring a CPAP on the internal flight(s) used in this land program. Please supply the make, model and battery type.

3.CPAP Machine to be used during flight – same as above + a doctor’s note is required mentioning the need to use the machine during flight.

*Guests are required to bring with them any details from the manufacturer regarding the CPAP specifications. While most modern CPAP machines are FAA-approved for in-flight use, having a copy of your manufacturer’s FAA-approval status will help to quickly clear any confusion that may arise.

    * Failure to provide the above details in a timely manner may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which Regent Seven Seas Cruises nor our local ground operator will be responsible for.

*Some hotels do not provide distilled water. While we can certainly request this for you, we cannot guarantee that it will be available. If received in a timely manner, requests will be sent on the final manifest that our ground operators and hotels receive. We highly recommend packing your own supply especially on programs that travel to more remote locations in order to avoid not having it. Please keep in mind the rule for liquids in carry-on bags. Many hotels will charge for distilled water. If there is a fee, this will be added to your hotel incidental account to be paid at check-out. Fees will vary from hotel to hotel.

    Documents and Visa Requirements:

This program takes place within Argentina.

A passport that is valid at least 6 months after travel is required

Please check with your local embassy for any visa requirements for your nationality.

VERY IMPORTANT – The name on your cruise booking, passport and any visas if required, must all be exactly the same for flight ticket purchase, otherwise guests may be denied travel by flight. Please ensure that all documents are identical in spelling to the names provided for your cruise reservation including first, middle and last name.
