Become immersed in the world’s most iconic artwork while walking through Les Bassins des Lumières, the world’s largest digital art center. This audio-visual experience will be absolutely breathtaking as the art is projected onto the walls and watery basins in the floor of the building, which is a massive concrete submarine base that the Germans built in World War II to house U-boats. You will literally be surrounded by 360° masterpieces created by the likes of Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet and Salvador Dalí. The monumental works of architects such as Antoni Gaudí have also been featured, as well as contemporary pieces that re-create space exploration and conceptual gardens. As you follow the walkways from room to room, the art will come alive as nothing is static. It will be emotionally moving as the art fills the space, a magical experience that a hundred video-projectors and thousands of digitized images make possible.

  • Wear flat comfortable walking shoes.
  • PLEASE NOTE Participants must be at least 2 years of age. The Bassins des Lumières are accessible to visitors in wheelchairs. Weather appropriate clothing; sunglasses; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
