Drive into the heart of the Médoc wine region and stop along the way for photos at two legendary wineries before settling in for a private lunch at Château Phélan Ségur. While traveling through the peninsular Médoc region on the Left Bank of the Garonne River, you will first pause to snap pictures at Château Margaux, a centuries-old winery revered by the likes of Thomas Jefferson and Emperor Napoleon III. Continuing on, you will see row upon row of other vineyards with names that read like a Who’s Who of the wine world, including Château Mouton Rothschild. After stopping there for photos, you will drive on to Château Phélan Ségur, an estate of Irish origins that produces extraordinary wines that maximize the unique terroir. Following an enlightening tour and sampling of several emblematic wines, you will be served a three-course lunch in a setting that befits the elegance of the estate.
