Halong Countryside & Zen Buddhism Shore Excursion in Hanoi (Ha Long Bay), Vietnam
This excursion begins with a scenic drive through the green countryside, passing small villages that are surrounded by bamboo fences and limestone walls, rice fields and water buffalo.
Your first stop is a monastery dedicated to Zen Buddhism. Here, you’ll learn the history of Vietnamese Buddhist Zen, watch monks demonstrate how to meditate and restore energy using Zen techniques.
Then you’re off to the next destination, stopping along the way to capture photos of the rice fields and grazing buffalo. Arriving at a small village, you’ll stroll through its streets, observing a Vietnamese community, its homes, village temples and shops.
We’ll visit the home of a local farmer and talk with him about life on the farm, how he grows crops and raises various farm animals. After an unforgettable time spent soaking in the culture and atmosphere of this facet of Vietnamese life, it's time to journey back to the pier.
ご注意:This tour includes approximately 1.5 hours of moderate walking and/or standing and a few steps. This tour is available to guests who have a collapsible wheelchair and are able to get on and off transportation. Guests must be self-sufficient or should travel with a companion who can help. Lightweight, conservative clothing that covers the shoulders and knees are appropriate. Comfortable, flat walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sun screen are recommended.
