Kuala Lumpur Exploration Shore Excursion in Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Malaysia

Your excursion begins with an orientation tour of Kuala Lumpur, which takes you past the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque, one of the country's most beautiful structures and King's Palace or Istana Negara.

Next, it’s on to the National Museum for a guided tour of the museum's diverse galleries. You’ll gain insight into the nation's history, politics, culture, economy, arts, and flora and fauna.

Then you’re off to the National Monument. Designed by acclaimed sculptor Felix De Weldon, this 50-foot-tall bronze monument was constructed in 1966.

We’ll stop for a photo at the centerpiece of Kuala Lumpur's city center, the 88-story Petronas Twin Towers before visiting the graceful Jame Mosque. Built in 1909, it’s the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur with architecture reminiscent of the Moorish.

Onward to Independence Square to view the 328-foot flagpole marking the spot where the Malaysian flag was hoisted on 1957年8月31日 to commemorate the country's independence from British rule.

You’ve worked up an appetite and will be rewarded with a buffet lunch before strolling through what was once a busy wet market. The many shops housed in this heritage building will enchant you with their offerings of antique clocks, jewelry, gems, woodcarvings, batik and pewter. Following your visit, you will rejoin your coach for the return drive to the pier.
