Old Tallinn & Chocolate Making Workshop with Master Confectioner Shore Excursion in Tallinn, Estonia
When chocolate is your vice, nothing can keep you away. Your time begins with a walking tour along narrow cobblestone streets past the Old Town wall and Long Leg Gate, or Pikk Jalg Gate to the Town Hall Square. There, picturesque old buildings dot the streets, including the Town Hall, built in 1404, and the Town Council's Apothecary, built in 1422.
Proceeding through Pharmacy Lane you’ll find yourself at the Medieval Master's Courtyard, home of the deliciously famous Café & Chocolaterie Pierre. Master Pierre is one of the best-known confectioners in Estonia. The secret of his success is a pursuit of perfection, delicate sense of taste and sensitive hands.
You’ll spend two hours making your own truffles with varied flavors, ingredients and spices while being serenaded by the sounds of music. You’ll top off the day with a visit to the handicraft workshops at Catherine's Passage and the street market on Müürivahe Lane to shop for wool and linen products.
