A Walk Through Old Montreal Shore Excursion in Montreal, Canada

Your adventure begins with a stroll down cobbled streets into the heart of Old Town, a once-walled area where Montreal was founded in 1642. It’s here where you’ll see the Notre-Dame Basilica, Canada's first Gothic Revival-style church that was once the largest house of worship in North America.

Then it’s on to the 17th-century Place d'Armes, where the French military once paraded, and the smaller but no less significant Place Royal, a meeting place that served as Montreal's economic hub. You’ll also view the first courthouse and city hall’s original exterior walls.

The newest additions to Old Town include the Palais des Congrès convention center, an architectural triumph of historical buildings linked by a glassed-covered promenade, and the dazzling World Trade Center. That's the charm of this district; it's one spectacular building and key historic site after another.

Your walking tour ends at the ship—you may choose to remain in Old Town and return later.

ご注意:This tour includes 3 hours of moderate walking and is not available to wheelchair guests or those with mobility concerns. Weather appropriate clothing, a sun cap, sunglasses, and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
