Vintage Car Museum and Malaga City Shore Excursion in Malaga, Spain
Your tour opens at the Malaga Automobile Museum where you’ll explore some of the world’s most prized vintage automobiles, including rare Ferraris, convertibles from the 1920s and even a Rolls-Royce customized with Swarovski crystals. As a rather unusual complement, several exhibits are also devoted to haute couture gowns and hats designed by international fashion houses such as Chanel and Dior. An occasion like this can only conclude by toasting it with a glass of distinctive Oporto wine.
Next, you’re off for an enlightening bus tour of Malaga, a city that the Phoenicians founded in the 8th century. Next you’re off by foot to view the exterior of the imposing Gibralfaro Castle, a hilltop fortress from the 14th century with sweeping views of Malaga.
Next stop is the city center and the Malaga Cathedral, known as the “one-armed woman.” Built over the course of 250 years, the cathedral is beautifully ornate and reflects several architectural styles. Your day commences with free time to stroll the Plaza de la Marina and shop.
